Alright so I was just banned for scamming maybe 10 minutes ago on my account kidforchrist. I believe that my ban is uncalled for seeing as I in no way was hurting anyone on the sythe community.
The rule says:
Users will be banned permanently for the following:
•Scamming: or any suspicious behavior similar to scamming or counter-scamming (i.e. attempting to scam). This also includes:
◦Impersonating other members, posting vouches for yourself with other accounts, and any other similar behavior.*
◦Impersonating ranks through the use of your signature
The connotation of this rule is that no "rwt" scamming as this site is "the craigslist of virtual goods". I truely believed that scamming non-sythe members on runescape, although bannable on Runescape was among the things that sythe supported. Seeing how botting is supported it seems like there's a double standard when it comes to supporting what is and what sythe believes in on runescape. Luring, although not truly a scam is also supported. Glitches that end up scamming people of their money (the SOL trick) are able to be sold and are bannable on runescape.
If the rule were to be worded as "Scamming: in either RWT or ingame." then I would not have posted my threads.
