    DNT Dispute.

Hello, I received a DNT 'ban' earlier today and I think it's unjust as I am innocent.

Yesterday (approx. 24 hours ago), I sold my def pure to another user on this site. I had not touched nor thought about the account since, until I received a notification that I had been mentioned in a 'report a scammer' forum.

The buyer of the account is accusing me of recovering the account, which is wholly untrue. The buyer has only provided a screenshot of sale (it is a valid proof of sale) and a screenshot of 'the wrong password' interface that comes up after incorrectly entering a password or login, which does NOT prove my guilt of anything.

I am not accusing the buyer of any foul play but it is possible, considering sythe does allow people to become unbanned by repaying the victim of a scam, that the buyer is in fact trying to scam me into paying to be unbanned. (The buyer seems like an honest person, I don't think nor want to think this to be true, but it is possible).

I have talked to the buyer some more and am willing to attempt to recover the account, although I don't know how likely it will be as I never paid for membership with card only through bonds although I do remember the month of creation.

Regardless of whether my recovery attempt is successfully I don't think it's just for me to be DNT'd as realistically it ostracizes me from the sythe community, although my word of innocence doesn't count for much, it should be run on a innocent until proven guilty system rather than me having to prove my innocence or get lucky with a recovery attempt.

    TL;DR (please do tho) :

The burden of proof lies with the accuser not the accused. Lack of any substantial proof should lead to a presumption of innocence, not guilt.

Lastly, thank you for reading and appreciate input and advice from anyone who has it.

I am closing this. You can dispute when the report has been handled based on what the decision is.
