During withdrawal on a gambling site I accidentally found a duplication bug, attempted to withdraw more than the gold I had won. I never actually got to the withdrawal stage as all sellers were offline. Went to bed and gave up. In the morning I was banned from the site which included some legitmate funds. Made a scam report on sythe and got my money back but was also DNT'd as part of the process for attempted scamming.

I feel like this is a strange situation. I'm really not a scammer, I have been a long time member of sythe and a gold dupe fell into my lap. Did i push it a little far? yes, but in the end nothing was withdrawn, no TOS was broken and no money was taken. I agree I might have been a bit of a dickhead and probably could have done better but I really don't think im a threat to the sythe community.

I liken it to finding a bag of cash on the way home, yeah okay i didnt report it to the police station, hey i even picked it up and walked it towards my house, then the bag got too heavy and i dropped it on the ground.

Also in a community where 99% of people would absoloutely abuse a gold dupe if they were to find one in runescape I really feel like what I did while maybe a little dumb was not me going out of my way to try and scam somebody.

A DNT kind of feels like a permaban with ribbons considering there is nothing else i partake in on sythe.

Can i ask you reconsider? A month ban for being a dickhead sure, a DNT for ever seems excessive for the crime.
