Dispute over Ban

Hello,

I tried to visit the site earlier and I was surprised by a ban message.

The ban said I was banned for fake pictures and ban length was lifetime I suppose as the date to be lifted was 'never.'

Now, I'm wondering exactly why I'm being banned for 'fake pictures.'

There is one incident that was within my Firecapes thread. We edited in some -text- to the picture for reference purposes.. This text has nothing to do with the service.

By the above I mean it makes no difference if it was added or not. The picture itself isn't photo-shopped. The user contacted us about the service and we completed it without problems. (The user even vouched)

I personally don't think the fake pictures (When it's a simple line of text) should be grounds for a full ban.

If editing these pictures like this is against the rules, we will delete such picture and refrain from doing so in the future.

If this thread is to be locked after a decision is made, I would like to have the opportunity to respond before it being closed if denied for any reason.
I think I've made my case, but if for some reason this doesn't seem correct to the staff, I'll try to explain further.

My point in all this is that the text edited in the picture does not lie about our services.
If this is for something else other than what I am explaining above, please let me know.

 

You will be unbanned, but don't make another fake picture.
