Hi,

I'm here to dispute my ban regarding plagiarism of this thread:

I'd like to start off by formally apologizing to shin- Evidently after speaking with Ardy you are NOT on a warpath to Destroy me.

Second I'd like to apologize to staff who have had the joy of dealing with me the past month or so- I freely admit I've been condescending of the rules and you guys ever since my TWC, I'm afraid ever since the twc I've been in a very poor mood- made worse every time I even look at my profile, and that has pretty much caused me to say damn the rules(I still felt a little hard-done by) even though I now accept that perhaps it was more of something given to me to help me improve my piss poor attitude instead of something to humiliate me by, I just want you guys to understand- It's just hard to login everyday and be further humiliated among my decreasing my reputation when I know I need this forum to make my living- but I 100% accept responsibility now for it and I'm going to try to have a better attitude- I understand I have no-one but to blame but myself, it was my fault my skype was hacked-no one elses.


Onto the issue at hand, the plagarism.

First off, I'd like to mention I mentored Alessandro about the markets- he rented one of my sites, I'd like to show staff here where it all started:

I didnt think he would have any issue at all with it- I'm including this to show staff & shin no harmful or purposeful attempts at plagiarism were trying to be committed.


Secondly I'd like to present my 2nd piece of evidence: Alessandro did not seem upset, he actually laughed(said lol) when I told him I was banned for plagiarism:

I'm submitting this piece of evidence just so staff can hopefully wholely conclude that no malicious attempts to plagiarize were made.



My 4th piece of evidence is before this case- I was writing a thread similair to IHQ's, and I purposely asked video if it was okay so I wouldnt be banned for plagarism- This just helps further show I had no intentions of committing any malicious plagarism against alessandro.

Finally, my 5th and most conclusive piece of evidence while disputing this ban is alessandro told me today this:

The person I was banned for plagarizing states he did not want me banned- he simply wanted me to change my thread- Which I attempted to do but evidently still fell short- If Im unbanned I will IMMEDIATELY go and have the hiring thread locked/deleted and go back to my old one.


I hope this dispute is clear and understandable, I apologize for my actions profusely and my attitude, Hopefully this dispute demonstrates there was no ill intent, no harmful plagarism, and that the victim in his case (alessandro) is okay with me removing the thread and that he didnt want me banned.

This isn't related to the content of your thread or your ban, but will you please stop using bold font in your posts? I meant to ask you to stop this earlier but I forgot to. I've done you the favor of removing the bold here as a start. Keep it in mind for future posts... just a tip!

 

Overall, I generally think the plagiarism rule can be quite harsh, and depending on the severity of the plagiarism, I'm normally happy to see a reduced ban.

However in this case, due to countless previous instances involving yourself, I don't even really want to consider it. You're constantly getting yourself into trouble and continually making work for the staff. I don't have a personal distaste for you, and I really can understand that you're upset about having a TwC on your account, but by having a TwC I'd expect you to be on your best behaviour and take absolutely no risks at all in an effort to prove yourself, yet here we are, with you in another situation.

Personally, I want the ban to stay and give you some time off to cool down and give the rules a real hard read. I'm sorry if it's harsh, but I think quite a few staff members have had enough of dealing with your antics.

 

Hey Brendan I think I may not of expressed my opinion properly in the dispute -I'm disputing whether plagiarism took place. Since Alexandria said he never wanted me banned, it means he never considered me to be plagarizing,since he's the victim of it, I'm disputing that the offence of plagiarism never occurred. I'm actually not trying to dispute the ban length but the ban itself. If the supposed victim never wanted me banned, my main and best argument is that no offence occured and I shouldn't be banned. I believe this is by far the stronger argument vs trying to dispute it's length, I think it's quite valid to, it can't be plagiarism if the supposed victim didn't want me banned nor accused me of plagiarism, he simply asked me to change the thread a bit,so I'm disputing whether a plagiarism offence ever occurred at all since Alexandria told me he doesn't want me banned.

 

If you're going to argue that plagiarism didn't take place then this might as well be denied. You're misinterpreting what Ace said to you on the Skype chat.

 

Just because the user doesn't want you banned, doesn't necessarily mean they don't feel ripped off, it's still plagiarism.

Congratulations, U guys managed to ruin a half a million dollar+ bussiness over a thread I didnt even care about.

As of this moment my sites and my assets are closed and being pulled out of the online world.

The staff team deserves to take a bow, It took you 17 bans to finally break my competitive spirit.
