RunescapeDropLoggerV2.01

I am in the process of programming a drop logger using VB.net , also known as Visual Basic. A very simple and easy to get to grips with programming language.

The drop logger includes:

MonsterSearch.
Oneclick button logging.
Alphabetically listed drops.
Percentages and amount of drops including seperate for charms and thier percentages.
Topmost/Always shown on screen.
In Portrait format to allow side by side on screen with the runescape page
(low detail / resizeable)

Writes to a prenamed .txt file which is created for each monster in a 1entry per line format with the exception of adding charms which is added to the same line.

This will be in a folder called "RunescapeDropLogger" in MyDocuments.

As you may have noticed from these pictures. there are no Close(x) buttons on the actual monsters pages.
This is to prevent the user from clicking out of this screen causing the program to become hidden and only closeable through the Task Manager.

This is in the coding which is caused by my lack of experience, but is remedied by going back to the monsterselect panel and closing the page there.

If the program is closed whilst not on the monster select panel, this causes Antivirus's to think the program is being suspicious as it is hidden and not able to be closed in a usual manner. (happened with my own antivirus program and deleted the file ^^)

 

i suggest making the user able to type in their own drops (and a later option to merge drops incase they mis-spelled something) and also a dropdown list of 'common drops'.
This would just make it easier for you to create the program.

Im not too advanced in scripting, but the dropdown list of the common drop should be simple and usefull . sort of like the monsterselect panel, not sure how to set the percentages layout if i was to use that though.

will need to put some fancy backrounds on when i can be bothered
