Disagreement on Value of HCIM

This isn't a scam report. TLDR: I paid to have services done on my HCIM by WantaCookie. He completed multiple difficult quests and I paid a very high premium to get "responsibility" if he dies. We agreed that this responsibility was, if he died, I'd get compensated the difference in price between HCIM and a regular IM. I was okay with that. User completed a lot of good things, but eventually died during entry level TOB for Night at Theatre.

We agreed to have Zora, who is a trusted account seller, look at the account values since they have sold many high level HCIM/IM and has a good grip on the market. Zora's findings after looking at account that the HCIM would sell for $1900. Zora sold one very similar recently for $1750 with not nearly as much done as my account. They also determined the value of the Ironman account without status at $900.

Although I disagreed with a few things from Zora (primarily the value of IM acc after losing status), I was fine with accepting $900 and offered payment plans etc, but WantaCookie wasn't pleased with their evaluation.

I was selling this account for $2700+, with people who were actually interested in buying (once hit 2k total it would of sold for this amount easily and only 50 ttl off). View thread for info on where I was selling

My opinion is that this account would actually sell for closer to $2.5k than $2k but I was okay with accepting the price, and I actually believe the IM version is worth closer to $700.. but again, I didn't want to fleece the guy and give him a break. But the truth remains, this account is rare and desirable and now its just another account (which many people have/selling). There wasn't many high level end game HCIM's on the market from trusted sources.. I was one of the few.


We've agreed to let you staff give us a final assessment of value and go with that. Whether that number is higher or lower than this, we've agreed to us this arbitration to finalize that number once he declined Zoras value. I even offered to accept $700 before posting this, knowing that this number will be lower and give him a break, but he respectfully declined.

Also..
account was trained by me. Nothing done by "workers". I don't even have a team of workers anymore.

Things that I had done:
- MM2/DS2/Sins/SOTE - By Wantacookie (which I paid a very high premium for)
- 300 Chompies killed for diary by RSR
- 400 dragon bones collected (from myths guide) by RSR.


Everything else was completed by myself.

 

Deal was settled between WantaCookie & myself

I will say, although this was very unfortunate for us both.. Wantacookie handled it like a boss and paid what he said he would.
