BURNHAMZ - Trade with Caution?

Hello, yesterday the user BURNHAMZ inquired about buying my RS account, and so I added him on skype.

After some talking, he said he would buy it and I said we can use a middleman. He said "He will only use an official middleman, and I pay the fees". I told him there are plenty of free trusted middlemans, and he said he would not use them "because of too many imposters". I'm not sure how imposters is a relevant reason to only want to use an official middleman.. Seeing as how anyone can imposter anyone, and by nature OMM\Staff are probably the most impersonated.. It's called requesting a PM, not rocket science.

After telling him this, and linking a 200 Vouch\200$ Donator + 150 Vouch\300$ Donator free MM Thread, he decided to remove me. Keep in mind that it's a 50$ iTunes trade for an RS account.. I realize anyone can refuse to use a regular MM, but I feel scammers often try to bait users by saying "I'll use a OMM, but your fees", hoping the victim will think "Well he is willing to use a omm, so he must be legit, I just don't want to wait or pay a fee".



Anyways, just seemed super shady to me, and figured it is at-least worth noting. Thank you.

 

In this instance, he's fine, as he's not refusing the use an OMM.

He can have reason for not using a free MM, but if he were to refuse both a free MM and OMM, then I think the case would be more compelling.
