[B]Some Changes To Sythe.Org[/B]

I_Virgin_I here with some new ways to combat scammers

Revision number one

Leachers or what ever new users are called should be ip checked on entry to sythe.org,Also sythe.org and rsbot.org should work together as a team to combat scammers i myself have seen many scammers from rsbot just move to sythe and when they get banned from sythe just move back to rsbot.

Pros:
Less repeat scammers return to the site.
The scammers who jump from site to site will be banned before they can move sites.

Cons:
this will cause massive amounts of cpu to be trained from the forum
causeing more donators to be needed to keep sythe up and running with out crashes
scammers will use proxys which drain the cpu to the hoster thus requireing more mony to be put out.

My thoughts on this issue:
sythe would benifit from this system but be drained of resources so unless some people on the forums are willing to pay about one dollor for more space and a less laggy forums this system wouldnt work.


Revision number two
The dispute forum change

The dispute forum is a great place for wrongfuly banned members to prove there innocence but some times the topics are denied too soon so my next revision is that all moderators shall have the time to reveiw the thread if they see fit in a time period of one to two days.

Pros: banhammer happy mods wountbe able to just deny with out other mods haveing the oppertunity to reveiw and reverse the ban/infraction/mute

Con:wrongfully banned players will have to wait longer to continue to surf sythe.org.

My thoughts on this revision though it has many pros the cons equal its effectiveness so unless my system can be tweaked it wouldnt realy be effective

 

For the first suggestion: A single IP search for anyone crashes the website 75% of the time, we can't have this happen every single time someone registers. You'd be surprised on how much an upgrade would cost.

For the second: Disputes are almost always reviewed more than once anyways.

 

In response to the first comment i exspected this and there for i said for more donators to donate so the site can buy more space on the hoster
