Did you purchase APB?

Not sure if this is the correct forums. If you purchased APB after July 15 you can contact EA with proof of purchase and they will let you pick a game from a list. If you purchased before, like I did, they will compensate you with a promo code gift certificate to their online store, at least that's what they did for me.

 

I purchased this and they said that I stole my key... why are they giving you this opportunity?

 

Hmmm I read that the company is going bankrupt is that why they are giving out free games etc?

EA is the company that backed the game. Real Time Worlds is the company going Bankrupt, but since EA put the game out they are backing their products. If you purchased the game legitimately you should have some form of POP for them. If you have a cd key you must have the box to go with it? Online purchases still have transaction history on credit card statements as well as wherever you purchased would have that info. I purchased mine through steam all they wanted was a screenshot of the purchase date.
