My friend got it like 3 months ago, he bought an arcade to use while his was being fixed, and last month, my sisters boyfriend got one, now I get one. =(

Buy the Nyko Intercooler EX (ignore the bad reviews) it really helps.

 

Yea, never used a cooler, bought it december 12th[Employee discount is ftw, bought cod4, 2 rechargeable batteries w/ charger(Nyko ones, there cheap and ftw), and an extra controller that day to], a few months later, I noticed the power supply cord(From wall to supply) was super loose, falls out randomly, but other than that no problems til about 5 minutes ago, sent in a repair claim, waiting on box now.

Well, i took my 360 apart, The main problem of a RROD is a Problem with the CPU and GPU under the heat sinks in the heart of the system, The sillicone liquid stuff spread on cpu and gpu to keep cool frazzles and goes everywhere, you need to renew it with a thin layer and wait for it to dry, then you can play again.
Other than that, Send it off to microsoft and they will fix free of charge

 

I managed to overheat my xbox a couple months ago. $100 for tem to do about $5 of repairs so i can use it again. -_-

 

I got it recently, sent it to microsoft and it took them 7 days to fix and ship back, it's not that bad.
