Vouches for private servers?

Was just looking around the forums and came around this vouch tread.

It looks pretty impressive with the 2.5b trades, etc. but it's all gp from private servers which is actually worth close to nothing.. Don't you need to add something like that it's from a private server?

To me these look a bit like fake vouches as it looks like hes selling 4.5b but in reality it's just like nothing lol. Just wondering about this.

 

I think there should be a rule that in the vouch you need to specify RSGP or private server gp, because your right that does look incredibly miss leading

 

I agree with Manpons. Unless they specify that the trade was on a private server, it should be against the rules. Private server gold is worth considerably less then real RSGP in most cases, which would make obtaining a high amount traded pretty easy.

 

Agreed, it's misleading if it's not specified if it's RSGP or private sever gold.

 

I totally agree with seperating it. I saw someone with a vouch like: "sold me 15b i went first." And I thought self vouching or something like that, then I realized that It was private server gold....

 

Or no vouches for private servers.

 

Nah because some famous ones' gold does actually cost money/time/effort.

 

Should have to be specified. Good job looking into the quality of vouches and not the quantity.

 

These members should be stating in there vouches that they are trading RSPS gold pieces in the first place. I support making a rule that enforces this.

Well I have a vouch like this.. but I definitely specified that it wasn't RSGP.

I definitely think it needs to be specified.

 

I agree it should say which server it is from or if its from since most of the time it is no where near the value of rsgp and can be seen as misleading.

 

As a pretty big Private Server (Soulsplit) trader,
I agree with you guys somewhat.
Users that vouch should specify on what exactly it was they traded.
It is misleading to read "Vouch bought 1b for 10M RSGP!"
But alot of my costumers have mentioned it was SSGP and not RSGP.
I ABSOLUTELY do not agree that there should be no vouches whatsoever,
because it takes ALOT of time to deal with people.
It's not an easy job, and although the vouches are from a private server,
they are STILL legit traders!
I personally have around 65 vouches, and around 70% of those are from selling Soulsplit gold.

If you want to know if it was a SSGP or RSGP,
you can do some research yourself, OR ASK THE PERSON WITH THE VOUCHES.

Thanks to Sythe and Soulsplit, i've made quite a profit,
and i've also try to help the community.
We're not to be looked lesser just because we deal on another server.
