xbox 360 vs ps3

Which do you prefer and why?

 

Playstation 3.

It for me has always had that more professional and technical touch too it, plus I enjoy some of the exclusive games a lot. The graphics are good, and the live network has always been free, prefer the controllers also.

Owned both consoles since release.

 

Owned both and prefer xbox hugely.

Most of my friends are on xbox, it has a larger competitive hub and gotta love Halo.

I actually sold my ps3 to buy another xbox to have in my room.

 

xbox360 better games and graphics imo

 

I only prefer xbox because I despise the playstation's controller and the fact that sony is a terrible company overall.

 

Xbox has better games (by a LONGSHOT) and better controllers.

All ps3 has going for it is free online play, thats it. I mean RROD was a bitch and definitely had me consider ps3's but since thats out of the picture i feel 360's are vastly superior

 

ps3. has better games and better controller. They are also not as money hungry. I refuse to pay 60 bucks to use xbox shitty service. At least if i decide to get ps plus i get deals on games and such.

 

I've always been playstation, had a ps1, ps2, ps3, ps3 slim etc, I love play station, the controllers the layout and everything else. However I do kinda wish I had an Xbox a lot of the time simply because so many more people have them and I think if sacrifice my preferred controllers in order to play with more friends etc

 

Xbox=FPS and sports games. They have a shit selections of rpg's/Jrpg's/adventure games etc.

 

XBOX360>PS3 Sure PS3 has free online play or whatever but i would much rather pay for my membership and have more security as the PS3 was down for a long time when it was hacked.

 

Well I own both... I was perfectly happy with my PS3 no problems what so ever.. I only brought an xbox purely because all my friends play xbox. But I like the difference between them both if I go on my PS3 to play Im amazed at the interface etc etc controller responce, then once I change back im amazed yet again (this cycle repeats )

 

I prefer PS3 as I have never used an xbox.

 

PC. Better graphics. Better controls. Better games. Cheaper games. Free online play.

 

PC. Better Graphics. Keyboard + Mouse feels better for 85% of games. Cheaper games. Able to mod most of your games. etcetc

 

PS3. Bluray. Free internet. Better controller. Little big planet.

 

360, love mine.

We can argue this all day, but I think the games are better and I like to be a leader on games.

 

PC does lack the couch potato feature.

 

The 360 is the one of the two that has a system where voice chat can be utilised between two users who are not in the same game (party system). I prefer the controller's indented joysticks rather than uplifted ones. The 360 also receives DLC and updates often months before PS3. Whilst the graphics are inferior due to the lack of Bluray technology, I prefer the games.

 

If the keyboard and mouse are an issue, get the XIM 3, it lets you use them on ps3 or 360.

Xbox 360: mainly FPS games, not many RPG's. Online Service Fee. Little difference between ps3 and 360 regarding that. The PS3 has a better architecture and better graphics, it's not something you can argue, games vary though.

PS3: has FPS games but not as many, far more RPG's including online mmorpg's. This really sets it apart depending on the crowd, people prefer the 360 for the fps and chat system, while others prefer the PS3 for the unique RPG's it offers that you can't play on the PC, and which is very lacking on 360.

PC: Why bother with the other 2? Spend $100-$300 on a GPU and welcome to the world of gaming post-2005.

PS3 is good for adventure games such as little big planet. Xbox is better for multiplayer games such as Halo.

My preference would definitely be xbox!
