When to call quits on a blackjack game?

Had $200 to mess around with today on my day off, I'm at $950 now playing online blackjack. I physically can't quit, like I was at $1.3k and have lost a good bit. Should I just stop playing at $950 or keep going until at the worst I'm even?

    any other gamblers on sythe?

When to call quits on a blackjack game?

I'm a pretty heavy gambler, its just what I do. Wether its with gambling with BBB's or a website for just straight cash, I do something daily. It's an addiction. I typically stop for the day whenever I look at my stack and compare it to that week's paycheck from my job.

$950 is more than I make in a week, but its $750 profit and that's what I'd be looking at. Still more than I make in a week, so personally I'd be walking away.

I would suggest keeping your current profit from the winnings. $750 extra is always nice to have when it's something you didn't expect to receive.

When to call quits on a blackjack game?

Went back to $820 after going over 1k again, there's definitely a pattern here. going to just call it quits and go celebrate an unexpected $500.

Like xeno says, I think free winning feels good though I'm kicking myself for not cashing out at 1k+ - either way I'm happy because it's free money I wouldn't have had.

    Your choices are:

    A)Quit and make 0 profit
    B)Gamble and make -950 profit

Any compromise choices will give you compromised results.

Cliffnote: Always quit a blackjack game.

    heres what I would do

you initially started with $200 and as of now, you're at $950.

Keep trying to increase your chances until you're back at $200 and call it a quit. That $750 you earned is what you either 1. gamble it away or 2. call it quits. If you're at $200, you didn't lose any money since the $750 is what you won. You just lost what you earned but not what you used to get the $950.

Keep your profits. It's better than losing more than you currently have. Knowing most gamblers, you will go back anyways.

When to call quits on a blackjack game?

I lost $3,600 in Blackjack on my 21st bday i quit gambling after that. I started with $500 that night. In reality i only lost $500 of my own money, and could have walked with the 3.6k, never again, it's a complete scam.

My gf won $2.2k the next day at the same casino though, and i convinced her to walk with it :p it's never worth risking it when you're up that much especially when you think about the way a casino works.
