watch out for this scam

So guys I wanted to inform you all about this scam. Its a bit complex, so i try to simplefy it as much as possible. I was person B in this fucked up situation.


Person A says hes buying virtual goods (in fact faking to sell goods)

Person B is selling virtual goods (used)

Person C thinks hes buying goods (scammed)


Person A claims he sent the money to person B, while in fact person A hasnt sent money at all but Person C did (thinking he bought something online and sent the money to person A, while in fact he sent money to person B and person C wont be getting his goods). So whats happening is that person A is the big scammer and is using person B's name and bank info to do his scams, while person B isnt even aware of this. Leaving person C scammed and person B used.

So guys my advice, always ask people to put in the description what they are exactly buying! And never accept payments from 'friends' of the buyers.

I noticed this scam because I was recieving some payments with totally different descriptions on the payments. For example i was selling osrs and the description said call of duty. If that wasnt the case I would have never got to know what happend. Fortunately I was able to find out about the situation very quick and nothing bad happend.

So guys, theres crazy people out here that will do the craziest shit to scam other people. Be on your toes!
