Stake Boxing

I have a maxed staking boxer, and I haven't made a lot on him yet. The problem is, I had better luck on my non-maxed character. I have my doubts on stance switching being the problem, and I've tried just about everything at this point. I'm only winning around 1-2/5 stakes. Anyone that stakes the billions or knows any tricks got any advice? What stance dance do you do or do you just stay in one.
