I have questions for Diablo

Hey guys, I'm new to diablo and I've never played 1 or 2.
I'm playing a Demon Hunter, and I'm wondering what stats do I prioritize?
I've played WoW before, but it's not entirely the same.
Right now I'm only doing my first run through of normal Diablo 3 so I know stats aren't hugely important, but I would like to know.
Also how should I build mine?
I'm currently only level 12 so it might not be really important right now, but I'd like to know for my benefit.
What are the big Diablo forums/fan sites/information sites?

 

press C, for your inventory/character.

it will show you stats, on top left.

strength, dextiroty, etc.

point your mouse on each, it will tell you which stats does what and which class use what stat.

 

Dexterity for damage and vitality for survivability if you're a demon hunter.

There's a very large and very active community ON the www.diablo3.com website. It has a forum for questions, and a bunch of information on the homepage. I suggest it because all of the information is 100% accurate and always up-to-date since it's owned and operated by Blizzard.
