Acc was banned for being hacked, but it wasnt?

I have been a long time user of Sythe site mostly as a reader and posted some a long time ago. I just got my new desktop and tried to log in this morning and had to do the recovery process. I get that finished and log in and it says my account "Element1" has been banned due to it being hacked. As far as I know this account was never hacked and hardly used over the last several years.

 

It was definitely hacked.

Are you able to post from a home IP connected to your account? Not sure if you changed internet or houses since your last log-in which looks to be 2013?

Please tell me the email on the account & previous ISPs/locations.

Also post a virus scan screenshot as we will need that later.

 

Okay makes a little more sense then. There were several attempts on the email (removed) to gain access to that email account. I have since then changed the password and added 2 step verification.

This is my current home IP address as I have moved, same state just different region.

Please add 2fa to your account and secure the one-time use code somewhere safe in case you find yourself locked out.

I'd also suggest adding a recovery number to your account under "Contact details" as well as a recovery phrase that you'll be able to remember for easier recovery in the future.
