[DENIED] New Infraction System for Malicious Prosecution

Currently malicious prosecution in the RaS section goes unpunished, or it's punished by a meaningless infraction. Guests have the ability to post in the RaS section, so an infraction can't always be used to punish people who post spam reports. Obviously the two idiots that got me thinking about this are @Qemo and @ipker322 who probably account for at least 25% of the reports this week. They're wasting staff's time and it's going unpunished from what I've seen. We need a solution for that.

My solution is this: We implement a new type of infraction exclusively for RaS violations. If somebody posts a report without sufficient evidence they would receive one of these infractions. After 3 infractions, they can be banned from posting reports for a month. Upon returning if they accumulate 3 more of these infractions they will be permanently banned from making reports.

We've seen people banned from making reports in the past. Elite Dust is the only one I know of, but there may be more, so we wouldn't be giving staff any new powers with this being implemented, we'd just be clearly defining when and for how long the punishment should be used.

If you have anything you'd like to add to this suggestion please post below.

I'll try to address concerns in OP so people don't have to scroll through an entire thread.

If they're banned from making reports people are allowed to just scam them over and over without being punished.
-Users banned for infraction buildups are still able to ask somebody else to post a report for them, however the user posting on their behalf is then susceptible to the same type of infraction if it is a spam report. This acts as a pre-screening for reports and could potentially save mods time with no downside.

Even if they're banned from making reports they can still post as a guest.
-I'm not familiar with how staff does what they do, but they've been able to tell whenever Chad makes a report as a guest and immediately close it. If it's possible for one user, especially one as good with a computer as Chad, then it's possible for all users.

    New sub-section in Anti-Scam

Should fix a lot of the problems in my opinon, idiots wont spam reports if they are not getting hundreds/thousands of views, they only do this to spite the other person, nobody is going to make a report in the new section which will be far less populated than RAS because it wont damage them really so it should stop them from being stupid.

I'm going to no support purely because I think the above suggestion Video approved will solve a lot of the issues, if it does not this can be revisited.

I disagree with their motivation for being solely for reputationl damages. That is one "benefit" (in their warped minds) but they're trying to have staff punish the other person mainly. I know this because they're often prescribing a punishment in their OP, for example "his ban should be extended to 6 months." They can still achieve this in a new section.. or try to

No support. So after someone has made 4 spam RaS reports were allowed to just freely scam them as they can't post reports?

1: Staff already has the power to ban people from making reports. That part is not new, the new part would be clearly defining when and foe how long this punishment will be applied. Elite Dust is one person I know of who is no longer allowed to post reports.
2: If they're ACTUALLY scammed they can ask somebody to post on their behalf and have it handled, however if it's another spam report the poster could face a RaS infraction themselves. This would act as a crowdsourced pre-screening and save mods time.

Currently malicious prosecution often goes unpunished

You can't stop someone from making reports regardless, no support. It is stupid that you are trying to stop people from making reports. And even if they get banned they can post as a guest. No way to stop this.

Chad's banned from the site and banned from making reports. He's posted reports as a guest and had them instantly closed. If it's possible for him why is it not possible for others?

Also I'm not talking about reporting people who were scammed by an impostor but report the person they meant to contact, I'm talking about threads like these:
    Respond to mr qemo
    Respond toqemo
    Reporting Ipker for attempted scam
    qemo report
    Qemo ban into 6 months
    Reporting qemo pendelum cant handle
    Reporting qemo doxing.
    [No Evidence]

I think it's stupid that you're NOT trying to stop these spam reports.

Do I think we should stop the span reports? Yes, do we implement a system where users get banned from posting reports, no.

Discouraging posts in RAS is more detrimental to the community than the spam reports themselves. No support.

I agree that the two people you’ve mentioned have taken things too far with their RAS reportings of each other this week, but I’m not sure this is the best way to combat it.
I however don’t have an alternative to offer, so I support the idea; but not the execution.
