[Denied] Banner Advertisement

Can donor's have the option of making the dynamic banner's static?
The banner would still be there but it just won't move
Purpose:

1. Less Laggy
2. It would still be there

 

Not really necessary imo, it is coded to be moving, and you don't see all the text if it isn't moving aka they don't get what they are paying for, no support

 

Is this in relation to banners contained within signatures or is this in relation to Sythe advertisements?

If its related to advertisements than obviously that's a no - As someone whos owned ~12 Sythe banners I can safely say that would completely deter me as an advertiser from ever purchasing a sythe ad and would substantially harm Sythes ad income from other bidders who feel the same.

If this is related to signatures, maybe.

 

All. Signature's are making me lagg like shit and im on a decent computer. I know people can relate to lagg that dynamic signature causes. Wish there was an option to make it static.

 

I'm pretty sure this is a issue relating to your personal setup, I am only using a 16 GB laptop with average specs at best and I'm not lagging at all.

I also don't lag on my phone/tablet either, unless other people outside you are dramatically lagging enough to notice it I'd say this is a problem unique to yourself.

You should probably establish if it's on sythes end or your own before making a suggestion is my advice.

The point of these banners being animated is to include more detail. Taking away that feature also takes away from the banner and the user advertising their business. For how much they pay to advertise, it would be silly to marginalize such a big aspect. No support.

 

You are able to block these with AdBlock Plus. You right click the ad and 'Block element'

What @Wonderland said. These ads assist with the costs of the site and will not be something that we will be changing. This has been denied.
