[DENIED] Punishment for those who mess up PM confirmations

This is an example of what I am referring to.

It seems we need to be much more strict on this, and whilst I don't want to be the piece of shit everyone hates it has to be stopped full stop and controlled in the correct way.

The example I am using is a new recent worker of mine, he went to sell 570M 07 RSGP which my other worker @Montie told him to be careful and use a middleman. He came across @alxender or who he thought was him, and of course got involved with a impostor.

My thoughts to be exact are the following - Just because you plaster your name on your forehead, does it mean people wont ask you your name? No of course not, they still will regardless of seeing it.

I thought it was common sense and common decency to reply to a PM/PM the customer involved with your trades or who believes to be in your trades with the simple things being :

- A confirmation of the trade happening/that there is a trade happening.
- Your contact details, regardless of how you're being contacted Skype/Discord/Other.

Now, what we are going to keep seeing is people coming in and out of trade with caution 2 days later because they "got vouches" and i'm sorry to say this is really fucking annoying.

I would like to say "oh yeah let's hold them liable" but that would be a clear mistake, however I do feel they should be held somewhat responsible for their failure to correct themselves with a PM.

This has been shown with people like the chinese gold sellers and so on.

 

Why is it everytime u seem to have an issue you make a suggestion to try to change it for all of Sythe, it gets really old.

Also, punishments are given(TWC) for improper trading PM's so I'm not sure what else you want to be done.

Maybe it's because people don't stick to what they are meant to? Maybe read it and question it afterwards. If you're placed in TWC like you just mentioned so nicely for "improper trading" surely you would learn from your mistakes and stop doing it?

Now, a question for you. Why is it you think you're above the rules? I could question the same to you, your stupidity and ignorance gets boring.

 

The person who was being used as a face wasn't a new worker. You don't impostor on new traders, that would make no sense to do that, you go for the bigger names (hence why I have impostors and so do many others.)

Pretty much, and that's how people get scammed by impostors otherwise.

The same applies when I middleman and so on, that's why I gave examples on my dispute thread. So really, i'm not sure what @Divine is picking at unless it's because i'm taking profits away from him due to the poor bastards not being able to impostor us more often.

Then again, I would understand from the other prospective too, after all Bus did try to make me wait a month to be paid my wages when I worked for his site lol. Just anything as usual to make themselves sound better on something which isn't meant to be targeted towards them and instead dealt with seriously, because this is a serious issue that goes around a lot of the time, and not only does it affect the people who get scammed but also the people who get impostors to begin with, as then people don't want to work with them.

 

Can I ask what your actual solution is? Your title states your main clause, I get that. But what punishment should be given? You are already punished for failure to properly pm someone, so what is the actual thing you are trying to address?

 

What I am trying to address is what people are actually doing, and an example I linked to be was about @alxender

I have seen him as a reference TWC multiple times (at least 5-10 times) and it seems it's always for the same mistake pretty much, a few days later the TWC/DNT would be removed after a few good trades. I think something should be further enforced for those who do it over and over, the same applies to people like the owner of www.rsmalls.com or whatever it was (the Chinese lady) as a lot of people are getting at a loss here, and whilst they are partly to blame so are the people who PM them the incorrect formats.

3 with 2 TWC's. Try using google and starting the search with site:sythe.org since that'll only give you results on sythe.
But yeah, I'm all for punishing people who send shitty PM's. If your poor trading practices cause others to lose money you should be held liable in some way.

 

Yes, I would say so. Once is more than enough to make yourself understand where you went wrong, twice is pushing it but after that there is no need to repeat it again.

I have buy rsgp before and when I add a person 90% of the time I don't even request a pm. want to know why? because I double check by my self and everyone should know how to add each other without adding an impostor.

so no support buddy. you should make a guide for your worker on how to add the real one. the guy aka @alxender have his skype everywhere. I don't see how your worker added an impostor.

as I say before he have his skype everywhere I still don't get how he added the wrong person still. I want to know how he added the wrong person O.O. when I add a skype of a known person there are like 10+ impostor and I still get to add the correct one

Hope all is good anyway, and since you're being nice i'll happily explain for you buddy.

- First trader (my worker in this example) gets contacted or so on via Skype etc.
- The scammer adds him, contacts him and pretends to be Alx.
- The scammer contacts Alx and when is requested to PM, he PM's the person linked (my worker)
- The trader trades the scammer assuming he is Alx.

gotcha, this its where the other 10% I left out its when I ask the person for his skype. if he doesn't tell me right his skype you know I will report that person and I have done it before. the person didn't want to tell his skype and he won an twc. tell your worker to always check for the skype he added and to always ask the other person to tell what his skype its. that's what I do always. hope its help.

 

yeah, he was meant to be having me middleman for him.

He did post in our Facebook group, and he was meant to post on OSbot as then I could help him with legit traders, seems he went a bit too far into it (traded on here) due to wanting $0.02/mill more.
