    I support this

    Reason I support this:

Another thing to mention is that in this community, people who get banned may want to retaliate against the person who submitted the scam report that lead to a ban ( or against a mod who banned for something non-trade related).

Essentially someone can scam me, I report them, and then they dox me on sythe where everyone can see (people often browser that section *including myself*, to see of there are any major bans or just to see how they are handled).

I think the system should be the same as posting in the Community General Section ( Post must be approved). At least in this way, only moderators can see my name or personal information that was doxed. To be honest, I wouldn't want even the staff to see, but that is the trade off you have to take to protect the privacy of sythe users.

However, I understand the points stated above that state the scenario where a mod can block a report just because it goes against him/her or their friends.

Wondering how this would work. It @Milotic is correct that other mods can see any blocked, deleted, or altered post, then I can see how this would be more than okay for guest accounts! :)

This is a staff suggestion on a matter that solely impacts staff handling of reports; just put it to a vote in SL and see what happens.

But yeah, having guests posts non-moderated seems silly to me; guest reports are not super common and there have been situations where they include sensitive data. So yeah, make guests posts moderated like the dispute forum.

    close pls thx

This is not a staff only matter actually.

Making RAS reports require approval could cause hundreds if not thousands of more scams happen each year.

Bob is scamquitting, bob scams someone 2b osrs, theres no mods on or actively browsing for 5 hours, bob scam quits $10,000 more because the persons who got scammed 2b osrs scam report was hidden and nobody knew bob was scamquitting.

This is about as far from a staff suggestion as you can get, this would vastly impact the community across every single market on the entire site.

This has way more implications than hiding threads in a market section, your implying that the person Bob scams will always have a sythe account which is not true.

What happens when someones whos banned gets scammed? What happens when they don't have a sythe account? What if their temp banned? The list goes on and on.

It would become a new meta to make sure the person your scam quitting on is a guest or banned currently so you can scam as much as possible.

I'm going to no support this.
