[DENIED] Removal of people advertising accounts as "no registered email"

Well you should not be recovering the account. It's impossible for someone to change your password, the only reason to recover the account would be to scam. Therefore you shouldn't be selling accounts if your not the O/O. And if someone changes your password. The question is why do they know your email password? Because regardless of anything if the O/O recovers it you have N/A chance of recovery even if you did set the email to the account

Exactly. This is the false sense of security which is why it should be banned.

 

Support. Considering that title could be misleading to the account. When I was new to the RS scene, account buying scene I was also under the impression that "no email set" insinuated the account could not be recovered whatsoever. May be just me speaking, but I know I'm not the only one. I suppose it could go into the body of the subject at hand but it misleads newbies into flocking to the accounts that appear to be unrecoverable. When it comes to vouches, donor status, etc... including the terms @Wortel mentioned, that goes back to the player himself. I'd rather go with an account of a $200 donor with 1k vouches, than Joe Schmoe with a join date of yesterday and appears to be shady at best.

In my opinion, I seem to doubt that most people who post about account having no original email in the subject line do it for purposes other than underlying "absolute account security". I'm not asking anyone to side with my view, but suggestions should be taken seriously, and not have "knee-jerk reaction" responses.

 

I fully support this I feel it's very misleading when people advertise these accounts as safe, it's borderline false advertisement, actually it pretty much is false advertisement.

 

Sometimes account buyers like the fact that there isn't any email on the account atm and they can just set the first one. I support this if they advertise it as "Fully secure cause there is no registered email on it" rather than just saying there isn't any email registered on it.

 

yeah this is exactly the problem it has no bering on recovering the account, but alot of people believe this lie/myth, they will always go with the original owner.

 

Thanks bud, I think @Wortels suggestion for TWC not being albe to post "TWC is for not posting from a home IP not for scamming" is a good idea as well to be fair

I do not know why TWC can use the market section at all when the rank is given for sketchy behavior and if someone does something deserving of that rank they should change the member title to give a indication of what the reason of TWC was.

 

This suggestion has been denied, as this takes away from our current free trade system.
