[DENIED] RAS doxing

Requiring Approval of Threads for the Anti-Scam Sections (RAS / Ban Evader)
This would be great.


1: If no can do make it to where facebook links automatically gets deleted cause honestly facebook has nothing to do with RAS and sythe in general unless ur sole purpose is to dox.

2: make it to where ONLY guest reports need to be approved. We rarely see any guests making reports anyway unless its harrasment/doxing.

Pardon posts need to be approved by staff. Why can’t we make this change for RAS aswell?

Lmk which one you’d like to see implemented.

 

No support to any of those, Making it so guests need approval is dumb not everyone has a sythe account and if someone is scamquitting what are you going to do then? their thread won't be public and that user could get away with more since staff aren't online 24/7 refreshing that page.

Also blocking facebook links won't do shit you could easily just post their names, Take a screenshot of the facebook url or just copy paste the url without the facebook part.

 

Link me a recent scam report of a guest.

Blocking facebook links is smth that would make sense and can easily be done. I am well aware they can post screenies and names, but blocking fb links is a step in the right direction.

 

The report against video. Not going to bother to find it but that user was a guest.

Doesnt even matter if there are none its for the future what if there was an incident where a guest needed to report someone then what?

 

I know you’ve got a grudge for me and you like seeing my dox on RAS. Therefor theres is no point in arguing with you. Nobody would ever post a facebook link in RAS cause that’d be doxing. And that just goes to show why you failed as a mod, cause you take things personal when it comes to sythe.

No support because I think doxing shouldn't belong in RAS as its not a scam and clogs up the section.
I'd prefer people just report it directly to staff and not publicise their childish back-and-fourth keyboard battles, but i digress.
Blocking facebook links is never going to happen also, its what facebook privacy settings are for.

Privacy settings? You do realize that once they got your dox its alrdy too late. New messenger updates have made it to where anyone can message you regardless of privacy settings.

Guests posting on RAS is rare, and mods are fairly active on RAS, Would make no to little difference if a guest had to wait 5 mins or a couple of hours for their report to be public.

Also blocking fb links from RAS is easily done, do you literally think facebook is relevant for RAS?

 

It'll reduce the number of them, especially when people post a dozen dox reports a week.

They can message you on sythe, discord, skype etc. I don't see how its such a big threat that someone can message you on another platform.

You saying someone trusted can't scam quit more in 5 hours than in 5 minutes?

So Sythe's gunna have to block everything that isn't relevant to RAS? Unrealistic.

 

It’s not only about how long it will take staff to reply to the thread it’s about alerting the whole community someone is trying to scam, if a thread is made and posted quickly then it alerts everyone a certain user is trying to scamquit so they can avoid being scammed as well. Also stopping guests won’t do anything people can easily make accounts on any free vpn. This suggestion is going nowhere

 

You know theres a reason why theres a similar system in the pardon section right?
People can harrass my friends and family, due to doxing- message me and my relatives.

Smh.. You get the point, and there is no reason why there should be facebook links on RAS. Its for the sole purpose of making it less convenient for doxers.

The sole purpose of this thread is to find a way to make it less convenient for doxers. Cuz atm its so easy to spam RAS as a guest and stay anonymous. If you’ve got a suggestion of this could be done fire at me

 

Look, i'm not saying doxing isn't a bad thing. It's just unreasonable to cuck every guest out from making posts that others can instantly see because of the potential to have someone spam RAS with dox - which @veng correctly stated, anyone who really wants to dox on the RAS would just use a VPN and create another account to post with.

Your dox can be posted anywhere like I said so why not monitor the whole fucking site while we’re at it?

I love how you don’t reply to me but you reply to him. I know multiple people that check ras before they trade it’s just good trade practise and if one person sees a scam report on x user the word is normally passed on that x user is scamquitting and you want to stop that? Next time don’t give out information you don’t want passed on, if you don’t trust someone don’t give them your info? Thought that was common sense but I guess not

 

You do, that doesn't mean every other user does. There has been loads of users constantly doxing on RAS. More than there has been actual guests reporting someone. And I don't see much harm in guests having to wait a while for their report to be approved.

Maybe a system where as if staff were to be inactive, members which has been registered for a year + could vote on a guest report to make it public/or not.Abusing this would result in a ban. This would be efficient, but I believe it would require a fair amount of coding, and I see how this could be abused. Just a thought.

1. not give out private information
2. not mess around and retaliate (such as your profile picture) with people that have information you don't want shared
3. understand how privacy settings work
4. not publicise reports as it will just aggravate it more and snowball + saves an eyesore - i count almost 10 reports regarding you and doxing?

2. Ipker files reports on everyone.
3. Never gave out any information, they got a hold of my information.
4. I understand how privacy settings work, and they've been adjusted accordingly.

You're arguing for facebook being relevant in RAS section which is imo the most retarded thing I've ever heard.
Also I'm not the first to get doxed on sythe, and you could go to any hack forum and pay 10$ to get a dox on someone.
