[DENIED] More Sections.

I mean about "Other Games" and "Other MMO Games" is a waste of the potential of this page, if us create more sections like "GW2 section" but i know there is a forum dedicate to OSRS and RS3, but us have a really big fan base and if us can create some more sections, because the "Others" sections are saturated with eco post of the same users and some new users can reach the people with the "Spam" of certain users.

There is only my opinion, but i think is a good idea to reach more markets and more users, this page have much trusted people, they want to expand some of your markets, Gw2 have a big amount of players, buyers and sellers, same to games like Maple or Tera, Thanks for read my post, is a opinion of an user who want this community rise above another forums because Sythe have a nice community and good Mods.

 

I think they are currently solid as they are, as I believe sub sections are derived from popularity, so if a game attracts enough attention they will create a single sub section for it.

 

If anything we need less sections, I helped Shin with his forum redesign and a vast amount of sections were being cut down on

 

Nobody want to enter to a section if they do not think they will find what they are looking for, is so ambiguous, not much people search for a game if they do not see a game thread, because they think, that is a forum about "OSRS" and "RS3" only.

Well, in other games sections can put it, don't waste space on main forum and is more organized every post in his own section.

 

I think that @RevK is trying to point out that by having more seperate sections, it would bring more demand too the site and have moe clicks if there's a special sub-forum for it. I voted Yes because it would definitely bring in different communities into Sythe.

Ex. I just got contacted by someone looking for giftcards and he was completely new, something totally different than rs. He wouldn't of found this site if there wasn't a seperate section for gifcards.

It's easy to hide the sub-sections also.

Albeit, it's pretty inactive but it could (long-shot) bring in new people. And who doesn't like new people.

Edit: Don't quote me on this but it would improve the SEO. I don't know much about SEO but more games = more audience = more clicks = more demand = better SEO. Heh, I probably don't know what I'm talking about.

I don't see a point to it to be honest. I highly doubt that any sub forum would be populated enough to not seem like a waste of space and time to create.

 

Is not populated because the people don't know if what are they looking is there, and created a new section is not so hard than you think, there are more sections with few people and you don't think that is a waste of space.

 

Which is why those sections are going to be removed in the forum redesign.

 

If they wanna do a redesign, can put some Sub-sections like the "Survival Games"

We have really put consideration into a forum redesign as well as making more sub sections, but it is currently still quite some time away.
