[DENIED] Market posting rework

After going through alot of threads either the accounts have been sold but still getting replies from people making offers or the orginal poster didn't follow the posting guidelines.


As far as the not following guide lines part, make all post wait for moderator approval before its show publicly. So then this way from the beginning their post already has everything on it.


Now the sold threads still getting replies. Could market thread sections have it where the orginal poster can atleast close there own post. I understand sometimes changing the thread title to sold doesn't stop some people to still ask if they have it. (In my opinion those people are searching for free post count). It just attracts unwanted spam and bumps that thread to top even though account is sold.

Also another issue is that someone has gone missing or left sythe, but people still posting looking for Informatiom on a thread they posted. Can threads where orginal poster has made no reply let's say in 7 days gets locked?

Gold section is gravy. Most everyone in there is on top of it. And in the account sale section most all stores are in compliance. It's just my opinion a simple clean up would make the section alot easier to navigate through and find what you want and know it's still available.

 

No support, if you see a post where it's happening just report the post and it'll be closed.

 

I'd say maybe allow users to close their own threads, in addition a simple report can get the thread closed. I don't see it as a huge issue but it's definitely something you see commonly.

 

OPs can close their own threads by reporting them (use the report button in the top right). We are not going to put threads under moderation queue because people are not following stickies, this is only for the gold sections and we intend to keep it like this.

If you notice users are grave digging old threads, then please report those posts. Generally speaking, we won't lock threads in case OPs of the thread return back to bump them; we've had complaints in the past where users have returned to Sythe to see their threads randomly locked. If they're very old and are being bumped, we will of course lock them.
