This suggestion is getting shut down for sure but I still wanted to suggest it regardless so atleast it's out there. I'm sure that the title above here already left a bad taste in people's mouths, but yes, it is actually what I'm suggesting here.

Let's take this pardon for example: bmba Ban Pardon.
Bmba scammed zeroreach. Zeroreach scammed someone else later on. Bmba wishes to pardon now and has to repay community repayment fund the debt Zeroreach is supposed to get, but won't get because he has scammed someone else. Probably when/if Zeroreach successfully pardons himself he's able to receive what he's owed again, but for now he's not. He's a dumb fucker for sure, but he's owed regardless.

Right now the community repayment fund gets flooded time by time and even I fail to properly update it in this thread for example. While I'm sure staff and Sythe feel no problems for this it does make it all a mess in my opinion. Surely the community repayment fund will still be needed for inactive victims but that's way easier to keep track of than the way it is now.

We're all so against catching ban evaders and such because this is a free market, everyone deserves a second chance even if they haven't repaid their debts (as said by some) though some still veto on pardons and meanwhile scammers aren't even allowed to be repaid for scams commited against them. The ruling is so crooked at times.

My suggestion here is to allow scam victims regardless of their actions after said scam to be repaid, even when they scam a whole lot themselves after. Isn't that crooked? Yes, it is and just because of that I believe this could be a good change that might leave them thinking after. Eventually you even have those people who buy stuff in drive-ins for the people behind them (surely you've seen such videos) not knowing who they are and what they have done, who knows they have a dead body laying in their trunk.

    Upsides:
    - Scammers might remain active on their social media afterwards (which allows us to catch them easier vading)
    - It might make them to consider their actions once again
    - Prevents community repayment funds from becoming a mess
    - Reaching out to scammers whom are not serial vaders might even interest them in Sythe again
    - Funds will also go out instead of keep on going in

    Downsides:
    - Scammers will be additionally paid, although it's their own money

After all, be the change you wish to see in the world.

I'll be offering my support to an extent

So originally when a scammer gets banned, their payment goes to the community repayment.

I'd suggest one of the two following options:

    1) When a scammer is banned, any money they are owed should go to community repayment. Once their debts are paid, their reports in which the money they got scammed for are collected together and put into a thread and diced to decide which victim gets repaid

    2) They apply for a DNT in which if they are accepted they have the ability to submit their report to an admin in which is submitted to a thread to decide which person gets repaid.

I understand you want to keep the community active, but option 2 would be a great choice for that as the 'DNT' user would have to be active in the community anyway in order to pardon every 3 months.

If you have anything else to add to this, feel free to quote this post. I'd love to hear if you have any feedback on this post @Wortel

There's no argument that a scammer should be repaid over a scam victim. We shouldn't be catering to scammers trying to win them back to the site when we have countless non-scammers who leave the site after being scammed. Nearly all of your upside bullet points can simply be applied to people who haven't proven themselves to be scammers.

On an additional note, if you are finding it hard to keep the repayment thread updated please have someone else collect repayment funds. It's a simple but EXCEEDINGLY IMPORTANT thing to update because otherwise we don't know where funds have gone
