[DENIED]Fix the discord dicing clan off-site rule enforcement

I'd just like to point out that Sythe staff have stepped in to ban people for scam ToS's in the past.

This all started when rules started changing and ToS took a higher priority in the gold selling section, account selling section, and servicing section.

Two examples of people being banned for a scam ToS

• Teeto - meme'd @video after he said that a ToS takes precedence over Sythe rules, made a gold selling thread with a linked pastebin ToS that said he never had to deliver gold
  
  
• Bus369 - banned / not allowed back for his scam ToS on AccountKings (and not to mention self interaction LOL)

Now Sythe staff has correctly stepped in these two instances because these people are advertising on Sythe, and therefore their ToS and rules should at least be compatible with Sythe's.

However: We are letting clans advertise on this site, take money for ranks, and then freely scam their ranks

We dont let clans scam their users, allowing them to bet and then not paying out (even if its in their TOS)..... so why are we letting people who buy ranks get scammed?

Something needs to be done...

 

If at any point these users made the clan agree to keep them hired for a certain period of time then we'd have something to enforce. Not once has a user made the clan hiring them agree to a period of time for the hire, until that changes we can't do anything. The clans can fire anyone at any time for any reason unless specifically agreed otherwise

 

Hiring someone to work for you or letting someone to buy in, in your bussines is not same [if you ask me].

And on top of that i never seen clan providing customer with tos that they can derank him at any time for no reason before they buy in.

 

Can you explain the difference between this and a clan making bettors agree that they can not payout their wager for any reason?

It seems like we pick and choose which scam to enforce, regardless of the TOS being there or not

 

It's the concept of at-will employment, you can be fired at any time for any reason this is the default stance. Paying for a job is a strange concept to begin with. We aren't going to arbitrarily decide that if you pay for a rank, a clan HAS to keep you hired for X amount of time, or whatever other terms. Terms have to be discussed beforehand between the parties.

That said, if a clan is simply yanking ranks for no reason and clearly just scamming people then that would be considered scamming. So far at least we have not seen that happening
