    There’s currently a sticky that provides users with the full name & PayPal emails that are assosciated with chargebacks/disputed/hacked that can be found here:

    The Paypal Blacklist - Making trades safer

    While I do not disagree with making this information available to users to protect themselves, I would consider posting someone’s full name as doxing, as it doesn’t take much more research to find their address, social media, ect.

    IMO, if you’re willing to chargeback/scam ect then this should be brought to light. However;

    There has been an approved suggestion to restrict people from leaking personal information even after a user is banned from sythe that can be found here:

    [APPROVED/REVIEW] Rule Reform

    There has been a denied suggestion proposing that this should be allowed that can be found here:

    [Denied] Suggestion: Allow Scammers to be Doxed

    TLDR;

    Remove the sticky as it contains personal information of sythe.org users.

    Or- if for whatever reason this is denied; at least require users that post names/emails on the sticky to at least link a *valid/approved scam report attatched to it. As of now I have not seen a single post on there that links back to a scam report providing proof of said chargeback, ect.

    I’d agree with a valid scam report being posted alongside.

    Even if you are a scammer,

    Your personal information such as first & last name (basically already dox'd) should not be for public viewing for anybody on the forum.

    There are some horrible people on the internet who do horrible things to people.

    Justice is Justice, but personal information is a bit to far.

    I'm against this suggestion as the thread is mainly used to warn others of potential scammers and that thread is mainly used by gold sites as a free database of fraudulent users. If there isn't a report linked when someone posts an email/name that most likely means that, it isn't connected to a Sythe user at the time or else they would put in the effort to fully report them and get them banned.

    A First and Last Name isn't even a proper dox and it takes a bit of effort to obtain correct information about a person from just that.

    As well as this, that rule reform that got approved was discussing leaking information on 3rd party sites such as Twitter, Discord & Pastebin. Particularly people Tweeting RSN's which the OP was mainly highlighting (Ironically Milotic was accused of leaking RSN's to Jagex after he was banned).

    Disagree 100%
    If you went on FaceBook with my name, I would be the first one there, all around the world.
    To top it off, most people make an introduction thread etc.
    First name, last name, Sythe profile + access to all their previous posts is going to be enough to easily DOX 9/10 scammers.

    All online personalities/aliases should be exposed.
    Nobodies IRL info should be exposed.

    I don't care what anyone says.

    For example..

    I scam here.

    BUILD is now known as John Dough to the ENTIRE forum. Someone can go harass John Dough just for fun, find him on FB, harass his life, just because of a post with their info. SlayerMaster187 on another forum is also BUILD. It would be more informative to know that BUILD on Sythe is also SLAYERMASTER187, Rather than BUILD is John Dough IRL.

    Online scammers need their online identities kept up to date as best as possible without violating their personal information which should always be protected, scam or no scam.

    It's a good thing for scammers to have their real identities attached to the evidence of their scam (which, in the case of paypal chargebacks, is basically certain unless it's a case of stolen identity). People who are doing background checks on someone's IRL name ought to know if they have been involved in online fraud. Sythe should expose, not censor, the information of proven criminals.

    We allow the publishing of any information on scammers that would help prevent others from being scammed by that user. Email, first/last name, rsn, discord/skype ID etc. are allowed to be posted of a person who is proven to be a scammer. Something like a home address would not be allowed to be posted.

    As for the paypal blacklist, every email on there was added as the result of a valid report. Most reports are linked in the thread (not sure how you seemed to have missed all of them), the ones that don't have a thread linked were reported in private. Everyone on that list is a verified paypal scammer and absolutely should have their name and email published to let others know not to deal with them. This is not a policy we will be changing
