[DENIED] Disallow Unrelated Links in Thread Titles

Hello. I have a suggestion that has been on my mind for a while. I have seen this happen over and over again and although its simple, I think it makes since.
    Problem:

There are tons of users who put a link to their runescape gold shop, their account buying website, or just random links to help promote their services in a section that is unrelated.

    Example:

I will not post examples of users who do this, but i will post an example of what I mean to make it more clear.

    Section
    League of Legends Market

    Thread title
    [$200 Donor][rsgoldsellingwebsite.com] Selling LvL 30 Accounts [PP/WU/BTC]

Now I think we can all agree that not only is this annoying because half of the title is getting covered by a link, but that link is also completely unrelated to the League of Legends accounts the person in question is selling.

It is obvious that most users do this for a few reasons.
    1. Free advertising on other sections (which can lead to people making threads that they don't even live up to just to have more advertising)
    2. They want to get across that it is the same person who runs a popular shop on sythe that is looking to also sell league of legends account
    3. They have the same Thread Title outline they go by and don't see any disadvantages to removing the unrelated link

I think unrelated links should be removed from thread titles because it allows people to abuse the rules, makes Thread titles longer than they need to be, and unrelated content ( even content within the thread title ) should be removed from unrelated threads.

Also, some may make the argument " well what does being a donor have to do with your services, or even the amount of vouches you have, because vouches can be totally unrelated from the service ( 99% of your vouches can be for skilling in RS and not league account selling in this instance ).

My counter to that argument would be that vouches and donor status are still relevant to your services because it is a symbol of trust and experience, where as linking your runescape gold site or your clothing store in your thread title is most likely only being used to promote your store on another thread and doesn't need to be in your thread title.

I think this suggestion is pretty reasonable and would like to hear your thoughts and counter arguments against this.

Not fully certain if the lvl 30 accounts are runescape as I know nothing about LoL, but if so, then wut? report the post and move it to proper section. But if it is a LoL selling thread and the website they use sells and or buys accounts of the proper market then it is allowed, it is false advertisement if the websites don't actually buy the accounts. I'm going to go with no support here, as I believe that most threads related to markets are pretty well off and usually are fine. On the other hand I haven't had access to the market for almost 2 months.
If you can show me solid real proof of someone having their website advertised in a title where the website doesn't actually correlate to the service I will change my ruling. But for now I believe that this isn't happening to the extent that you are putting it up to.

^ now I will admit, I contacted the live chat here and after asking if they buy crypto, the live chat agent did respond asking how much I wanted to sell.

However, there are other examples and have been other examples in the past of people doing this.

    Here is another example...

^ this one is way more obvious and his account sold, his workers, and his website have nothing to do with buying crypto. NO offense to CrazyPipe, but I don't think this should be allowed because again, it give incentive for false advertising, advertising in the wrong section, fake threads and content for the purpose of bumping. Most users see titles only, so it makes since to abuse the rules and use titles for advertising.

If we don't allow it in the actual post itself, why should we allow it in titles?

I think advertising like this is meant for your Signature, your user title, avatar, your profile post, and everything else regarding your actual account, but when it comes to threads, it is just not smart to allow users to use thread titles as advertising for unrelated services.

If you want to advertise your gold shop, do it in your sig, avatar, or UT, the thread for your gold selling/buying, or someone else's sig, avatar, ut.

Runescape gold site shouldn't be advertised in the title of the thread in the overwatch section, and that also goes for the crypto thread.

I will agree and say it is unnecessary publicity by putting it in titles if it is irrelevant, even if it correlates to the business being done. Although I don't have a problem with the examples you gave me, I will still agree that the websites being listed there is unnecessary. It just makes the thread title extremely long and looks like clutter anyways.
If you want to advertise your gold shop, do it in your sig, avatar, or UT, the thread for your gold selling/buying, or someone else's sig, avatar, ut.
^ Agree with that completely. Will support now.

If the website they link offers the service I don't see a problem with it. If not, report the thread for false advertising.

This suggestion has been denied, as it is already being actively moderated.

If they are advertising something in their title that they do not offer, report it and we will handle it under False Advertising.
