[denied] Require proof of quests OR remove proof of membership

[Section Rules] Old School RuneScape Accounts

We already require people to show proof of membership when claimed. Membership days generally represent less of the account's net value than the number of quests completed. Yet we require proof of membership, but not proof of quests. For the sake of consistency, let's require proof of quests as well.

This doesn't have to be extensive, but say for instance someone claims 'barrow gloves completed', let him show a screenshot of RFD being completed. Or when someone claims to have "Zulrah ready accounts", let him show a screenshot of regicide being done.

No support - I don’t see this being necessary as it’s never been a problem in the past. I’d even go as far to say the membership page isn’t even needed.

Most of the time people post pictures of items on the account rather than the quest list and you’d see the barrows gloves so no point taking a picture of RFD complete for example.

 

Yeah fair enough, when I wrote this I had in mind "it's either both or neither".

 

If you say no need to complicate things: how do you defend having to list current Membership but not quests (when claimed)? What makes one more economically relevant than the other? I'd say, requiring both or neither simplifies things.

 

Feel free to propose a change to the things that don't make sense to you...

not really needed to be honest. Sellers will only mention that the account has members if it's an absurd amount of days, otherwise most people don't even bother mentioning it. I did a quick look and only found a handful of people that even mention membership attached to the account, and when it was mentioned they had more than a few months which would add some value. The quest requirement is normally met without any enforcement because it's in the sellers best interest. If a seller is selling bglove accounts, they will 99% of the time post a picture of the bank/inventory also showing the bgloves which would mean that rfd is complete. Though i know not all quests provided items, such as the mentioned zulrah, even though it's not a 100% that the account has the req'd quests completed; the buyer can cross reference and check that the account has the skills req'd to complete the reqd quests.
