    Help on recovery questions.

    I've recently bought an account from a friend, all my info on the account, but he can still recover it. Any ideas on hao to secure it?

    Yes he still can recover it.

    Set Recs, Email, Bank Pin a few dif Password & Attampt to recover it to make sure you have prev details.

    Best thing is old email's internet, internet providers. they secure your chance realisticly even if you ain't got a clue what your recoveries are, they just help the matter. change your email to yours and verify it, this is why you should do recoverys checks when you buy accounts, i strongly urge that.

    I did a recovery check, and it worked. Don't understand why it works for him now. I'll try the above.

    i was posting on the forums. the mod said they can delete all information about the account except the first original stuff. so it would only have the first pass and recovs in history. then you can set your own password and change it every few days to add more to the list. and do the same with recoveries.

    Wait a couple of weeks, or months depending on how paranoid you are and just leave the account there. After 2-3 months of not logging on, see if he's recovered it. If he hasn't yet, put new recovery questions, a new password (change it a couple of times) change the email, and most importantly try to give it members and save the code they give you so you can provide it to them later in case it might be needed.
