    Dogs and peanut butter.

I don't know if this belongs here, but oh well.

I was out in the yard eating 2 PB sandwiches when my dog jumped up and grabbed the other outta my hand and ate it. I was surprised, not for the fact that he ate my sandwich (He does it alot... The pig.), but that he actually ate it all. I didn't realise dogs ate peanutbutter, nor do i know if it's healthy for them.

So my question is, has anyone else fed their dogs/cats/fish/pet monkey...etc peanutbutter? And do you know if it's healthy for them?

Pretty sure its not bad for them. My buddy has a beagle and when we leave the house she always barks non stop with her annoying ass bark. So my buddy when he goes out sometimes late at night will stuff her mouth with a handful of peanut butter. Pretty funny actually it'll take her a good 10-15 minutes to get rid of it so she can bark...but by that time she forgot we left or doesn't care anymore.

I'm not surprised. When I was younger, I hated peanut butter, but my mom used to make it to me all the time. So I fed it to my dog just to avoid eating it. That mongrel finished a whole sandwich in 3 seconds.

It's not bad for them, actually, I've heard of people giving their dogs straight peanut butter and it sticks to their mouth and it's really funny watching them lick it.
