My last two pardons have largely gone unnoticed and I hope I can get some exposure as I feel I have a good standing.

Years ago I committed several offenses that I regret greatly as they have pulled me away from a forum that I've come to love over the years.

This is Drento asking for your pardon. In 2007 I was banned for having multiple accounts. I did not know better in 2007, and I did not commit the offense in order to scam, or do anything malicious on Sythe.org. I now realize what I did was against Sythe.org regulations and I apologize.

I also have a ripping offense in my name. At the time going for user educator and ripped a guide off of a book I was reading in HTML class. I am guilty of both offenses, and regret them thoroughly.

I led a clean slate here at Sythe, I've never caused anybody trouble. No scam reports, and always did my best to stay out of trouble. My past unfortunately caught up to me and ended up getting my account banned.

You'll notice that many of my posts are not in the market. I primarily enjoyed Sythe.org for the community, and Runescape aspects. I meant no harm to anybody. For what it's worth I'll even accept a market ban if it makes the Sythe.org staff feel any safer.

I've never been a threat, and I don't think my previous offenses have changed that. I love Sythe, and I would really appreciate a chance to come back and enjoy the community again. It's been five years since my original ban on the old accounts. I've matured a lot since then. These days I am a volunteer firefighter, I coach the high school volleyball team, and I still work 48 hours a week.

I'm not going to make this a big long drawn out thing as it really doesn't have to be. I am sorry for my offenses, and hope that the staff can understand my forgetfulness and take into account that I lead a four year career here on Sythe without a single offense. I am no threat, I just really like Sythe.

I would have liked if you didn't just copy word-for-word the exact same pardon you made 6 months ago. But I won't hold it against you, it's just a personal preference.

However, I will hold against you the fact that your partner scammed several people:

If you want to be unbanned, you are responsible to pay back the people he scammed the amount they were scammed. It's a relatively new rule, but it ensures that people don't partner up with just anyone unless they really trust them

 

I supported your original pardon, and I'll support it again.

Is that rule still in effect if the scam happened before the rule was added?

 

I assume so but maybe not. When a global gets on, I'll ask
