Change the description of the Feedback thread

Current description: Did we do something good? Did we do something bad? Give us feedback here.

My suggestion: Did we do something good? If not stop whinning and bitching and get over it, we don't care.

Opinions?

This is a serious suggestion and is not to be taken as "trolling" so please leave your honest opinions below

OT: NO SUPPORT just move forward with your warnings. Making 57 bitching and moaning threads about the same thing will get nothing accomplished.

 

I don't see what's wrong with sticking up for yourself if someone criticises what you're doing. It depends how the feedback is given and in what context, some people can be total jerks about it.

Anywho, this isn't the place for trolling. It's blatantly not a serious suggestion.

On topic: Without calling names, I do feel and agree that some staff members handle criticism in the wrong way, and handle such issues in a manner, they shouldn't.

Roary: Keep in mind, that sticking up for yourselves and responding in an unfashioned manner, aren't the same things. Some staff do handle negative feedback the wrong way.
I wouldn't consider it trolling; That suggestion IMO is trying to say metaphorically, that some staff should handle the criticism better.

 

I don't remember saying anything in the OP about an infraction so everything about this post is off topic, this isn't the SF, try to stay on topic pumpkin

There is absolutely nothing wrong with sticking up for yourself, that isn't what this is about.
To many times have I seen staff just tell people to stop whining when its really certain members of staff that are whining that they got negative feedback. (Not ALL staff does this) so put your dicks away

This is about staff asking for feedback, but then telling users to stop whinning or get over it if it isn't a kiss ass remark about how great they are..

If you don't like the feedback, be more professional about it

 

I guess i understand both sides in my opinion I think that it all depends how it is worded. If it is constructive and is not directed at one person then I think it is allowed to be negative but if it is just flamming a person because you have nothing better to do and there is nothing constructive I can see why it is closed. It should be constructive critisim

This is the 'feedback' section. Not a bitch about an infraction section. Do not deny this isnt about your gay infraction. It happens; deal with it.

You came in here bitching about it; what do you expect to get? You clearly excessively bumped and there is no argument against it...

If you'd structed your feedback better you wouldnt have got 'stop whiney bitching' as a response

this is obviously a thread cause your mad about a response you got for an infraction.

OT: i have seen a few select ex and current staff not be too happy about some of the feedback that they received but most of the time it is because the OP of the feedback didn't follow the rules and is just wasting their time. Would like to see what some of the current staff opinions are on your "suggestion"

 

I really hate to burst your bubble, but this post has nothing to do with that infraction... It has to do with staff needing to be more professional about feedback they receive, I really don't care how much time it may waste or how useless they may find it, act professional and address the matter in a decent manner...

Telling staff to act more professional about feedback doesn't fix/dispute/or bitch about an infraction in anyway, seems you just want to find a hidden window that isn't there so you can try to make your dick look bigger by flamming a legit suggestion..

Please, if all you got is accusing me of making this due to an infraction, move on.

E: Someone PLEASE teach me, I would love to know how asking staff to be more professional about the feedback they receive has anything to do with an infraction? If you can't then I will start reporting these posts as spam

 

I have to agree that a lot of feedback is taken the wrong way and we always get the response of "quit bitching". All we're asking is to act a little more professional and don't take the feedback the wrong way.

EDIT: As much as I agree with you, this isn't really the suggestive thread this section was made for. This is more feedback.

 

I think the description text for the feedback forum is fine.

To be honest I don't think giving the feedback is the problem, just the way its given. I think people go about giving feedback the wrong way. However some (not all) staff members would help by handling it better.
