F2P Pking Pure Setup?

Starting fresh on a new account. So whats the best pure setup?

Range to Rune 2H?

or

Scimmy to Rune 2H?

Say both Str and Ranged were lvl 99

Range to 2H is always your best bet, my man.

 

I'm personally a fan of Range to 2H. I believe it's all a matter of preference. They both have their benefits, and I'd say either could work out fine if you know how to work with it. Pick whatever you like best!

 

I used to range to 2h, but then I got money and realized $8 a month to actually ENJOY the game was worth it.

 

From 2 years ago, but might help:

Only changes is that there is no more rings of devotions

Stats back then were around 40 attack 65 str 1 defence 70 range and 1 prayer, gonna make an account like this again when I can be bothered. Only used to pk range/2h though

 

I always used to see range/2h'ers go better, but scim/2h'ers can be made at the same time as range/2h'ers as the level needed for the 2h is usually the level needed for the scim.
