Ultimate way to make money online?

So, you have:
-A computer
-An internet connection
-No extensive prior knowledge in any particular area


What do you think is the best way to make money online, any way of making money online is acceptable, as long as it wouldn't take years of training blah blah... This isn't about right and wrong, just looking for opinions

 

What methods are you looking for? How much time and money are you willing to invest?

Here's a short list of methods you can learn in about a week or two for the basics. Rest of it comes with experience.

- Web Design
- Graphic Design
- Article marketing

There's a whole list of things you could do, it's really up to you.

Ah I think I've seen this before, I always assumed it was some kind of scam though, could you actually make money from it?

 

Web design is a good place to start, you can easily offer your services on other forums because I believe Sythe isn't really that big on this. After you get your foot in the door, you can set up WordPress sites for people for like $300 although you would need knowledge of creating custom themes and whatnot. Just mess around with it, see what you get

It's not my personal preference, but it's the most effective way to gain massive amounts of ROI if you know what you're doing.

If you're a beginner, then this is not for you unless you're willing to spend hundreds of dollars to test, split-test, and then test some more However, since you mentioned that you are good at web design, here's a simple method for you to follow if you're willing to put in some investment.

- At least $45 to start out with

1. First, you'll create an e-book in whatever niche you want. Make sure it's very well-written, informative, and definitely provides value to the buyer. Let's say you'll price it for $25 to make this simple.

2. Next, write a sales copy to sell your product. This is vital. If your copy sucks, you will get no conversions. If you're lucky, you might get a few, but not as many as you'd want of course.

3. Create an eye-catching landing page. Sample is below.

The above sample is not my product and nor am I promoting it. It is simply a sample of what everything should look like, nothing more.

4. Now, to make your landing page live, head on over to HostGator.com (or whatever hosting company you want) and purchase the "baby" package for $10/month I believe it is. If you're going to go with HostGator, then PM me to use my 20% affiliate coupon I get a commission, you get 20% off. We all win ;D

5. Next, we'll head on over to Namecheap.com or GoDaddy.com to purchase a domain. It's best to not purchase to get the domain off of HostGator because it's more expensive and this will save you a few dollars. Of course, this is up to you. I personally prefer Namecheap, but you can use whatever domain company you want. Purchase either a .com/.net/org domain for something like $10 as well. If you're lucky, there will be a coupon sometimes where you can get a domain for $1 Keep in mind that you must choose a domain relevant to your e-book's niche and not to buy one a .info or .biz or something. I mean like you can, but it just won't be as effective in my opinion. It's up to you.

6. Now that you have domain, hosting, a product, landing page, and everything else put together, it's time to set it all up! First, we'll point the DNS of your domains to HostGator's so you'll be able to configure everything off of HostGator's cPanel. Next, we'll upload your landing page design and set up a "buy now" button and everything for your book.

7. This is the fun part now where you get to mess around! Since you signed up for HostGator, they'll give you a $100 Adword coupon. However, they changed it now so you have to spend $25 first in order to claim that $100, but whatever, still saves you money anyway to mess around with PPC. Go to Google Adwords and sign up for your account and create a campaign. Test keywords that you would like to bid on and see how far it gets you. Keep in mind that the CPC (cost per click) will vary depending on how popular the keyword is, so it's up to you to find a good one that you want to continuously bid on. You may purchase these coupons for around $5-10 if you look through the internet, although you need to set up more Adwords accounts in different IPs if you wish to use them. I don't feel like explaining this part so it's up to you if you want to go down that route

8. Anyway, now that you have everything set up, just hope and see that your traffic converts! There are many, many variables that affect this so I can't guarantee you'll get any sales. However, if you DO happen to make 2 or 3, then congratulations! You've made all your money back

Extra Tips
- If you're more experienced/have friends, set up JVs with people to promote your product.
- If you're willing to invest another $47 (I believe it is) you can try getting your product listed on CB and try to gain affiliates. This isn't really recommended though unless if you have a stellar product since the screening is rigorous and gaining affiliates is difficult. It's best to set up JVs in order to get more affiliates.
- PPC is not the only way for you to get traffic to your landing page! You can do SEO, SMM, e-mail marketing, whatever! It's up to you on how you want to drive traffic

Anyway, I'm getting tired of writing since this probably took me a good 30mins or so to explain. I hope it helped you out though. Keep in mind that these are just basic steps, I don't feel like writing everything out in-depth. Do some more research of your own before you start anything.

Wow thanks for this great reply, I really appreciate you taking the time to give such a full explanation! I'm going to give this a go, just one question, do you think that it could be possible to actually earn enough to live off of? Or is this just an on the side sort of method?

 

It's one of the more advanced methods so it might not be the best place for you to start out with but I answered your question about PPC at least This is just a basic on where to start out with.

And as for whether or not if you can live on this method, then most likely not. It would take you months of experience (if not years) to fully understand how to do it both properly and efficiently. Although depending on the country/region you live in, it's entirely possible. There's many variables as to how much you can earn as well, but like I mentioned multiple times, it's completely up to you. Some people invest their time/money into this method and make absolutely nothing and waste their investment, and others make up to "$XX,XXX" a month. Keep in mind that PPC is an expensive method although it yields very high ROI if done correctly. Try it for maybe 2 months or so and if you feel like it's not your field of marketing, then test a different method.

However, if you have the time/money to spare, there's no reason why you can't make a decent income

The best, fastest, and easiest way to make money online is doing paid surveys for market research companies. This is how I supplement my income and would be having a much harder time in life without it.

You could always try to make an own website that has something new and catchy. Getting into a hype or starting a hype works great too if you know what you're doing
