    What do you guys think?

    Personally I don't play Deadman Mode, but I'm excited for how the solo players will do. The changes will make the players more motivated to stay on and play, but mostly it will still be a mode that is catered more towards players in a clan.

    These are all very much-needed changes to the mode, but they really should have been made before the season started - looking at the numbers of players online, I don't know if it's salvageable at this point. It would be nice if they do an earlier reset rather than waiting out the remaining two months for the current season to end.

    They definitely should reset the season earlier given that there's a lot of players with end-game stats and equipment and newcomers or people who do not play very much cannot compete with them at all. I think the reason why it is 3 months instead of a month is because Jagex do not have so many 10Ks to hand out.

    Yep, I think that it's pointless to wait out the full three months with dead servers if they think that these changes will help revitalize the mode. They should at least poll an earlier reset; I feel that most people wouldn't mind starting over if/when the changes get rolled out. As for the actual timeframe itself, three months seems pretty good if they succeed in slowing down the pace of how quickly people reach endgame.

    I concur. I still think 3 months is a bit long, maybe slowing down the experience rates for higher levels whilst keeping the experience rates for lower levels high would work. I still think that there must be a solution for clan man mode. Solo players stand no chance at all against players in a clan. Sure the recent updates help, but it still favours clans.

    For example, you can basically teleport while being ice barrage. Yeah that's is good for escaping. What about being a solo pker? Who's going to teleblock for you while you have the ancients' spellbook? Players in clan can do that easily.

    Clan man mode still conquer end of the day. Sad, but true.

    Can't stand deadman mode personally, but I'm glad they're willing to implement changes so fast, even if they don't reset the servers right away. I want it to work out for the people who enjoy it, or it to die completely and be removed so everyone can move on.

    It's good in a sense because it brings attention to OSRS. Personally I don't play it, but when you have streamers attracting 20K viewers at one time then I think it's worth investing time into it given that there may potentially be new players.

    It's definitely a good thing to see that Jagex accommodates to what their players want, which is ultimately what OSRS is about; the players.
