IDP.Generic is a non-issue, as you can see here What is idp.generic? - Appuals.com.

As the link above says, you should run the program through virus total to ensure the IDP.Generic warning was indeed a false flag, which I have done here VirusTotal.

Our client is a fork of RuneLite, as such we use their launcher. The source code of which can be found here runelite-extended/launcher.
This is where the IDP.Generic is coming from, we are using essentially the exact same thing.
This whole situation has created a massive time sink for absolutely no reason.
We have over 5000 active users, you would have certainly noticed a lot more people calling out a virus popping up from a scan in the nearly 5 months the thread has been active.
This whole situation, I feel, reflects poorly upon the website as we had no communication prior to removal.

The client is completely open source to allow for outside audits.
