    Singing.

I love singing songs such as Justin Bieber, The Wanted and basically every song I like but I think I sound so bad, how can I find out if sound bad or not? And how do I tell my parents I like singing, I find it quite embarrassing.

Just sing for your friends and make sure they don't lie.
Post a vid on YouTube of you singing and look at the comments.
You're parents will accept the fact you like singing. Im sure of that.

same problem, i enjoy singing :) but i dont want to embarress myself on youtube either, so what I did was I recorded myself on a camera with a youtube video of the song u want to sing (the musical version) running. This should answer ur problems.

Singing is a normal hobby. It should be a parents' honour for their child to be a good singer.

Thank you for all the ideas people, I would probably sing in a talent show but my school rarely has them and I'm moving school in 3 weeks.

If you've ever been in TC, you know that I enjoy singing. I sing every where I go. I sing in cars with friends, at home, etc. Just sing your heart out, become better, etc.

Even if it's embarrassing, everyone will learn to accept it. They'll tell you to shut up, etc, but just be like 'QQ'

    Singing.

Deciding if you sing bad or not you could always record yourself on you cellphone, if you are to shy to sing in front of people.

Telling your parents you like singing all you would have to do is be blunt, and honest with them. Parents understand most things, even though they might ride your ass about somethings.

Also... Who is to say you sing badly? If you like singing just go with it. If other people do not like it then that is their problem. Singing is a major way to express yourself.

Singing is a talent that only a few have. You should be proud of yourself.

Most cellphones have a really bad recording quality so I wouldn't recommend that.

I doubt it, unless you have already established yourself and have friends who are in the record.

Start small, try out for the chorus/glee club at your new school.

She backed out from auditioning for 4 years in a row all because of nervous

She is now 18 and she is amazing!

Don't waste your talent if you have one

record yourself singing and post is anonymously on the internet but be ready for trolls :D

I suggest singing in front of your friends first and ask their honest opinion. As for telling your parents, just do it. So what if their son sings?

This. The more you come to terms with your passion, the more people around you will learn to accept it.

Audition for bands, make a YouTube video as someone already mentioned, and just see how it goes.

It's completely subjective though, so don't base your whole opinion off of what one person says.
