Explanation of the trade: The trade, as agreed between myself, Soph and @Assassin was 7b for a Runescape Name. Out of that 7b I would give 20% to Assassin/Bold as a middleman/xfer fee. The price was confirmed, @KissabIe (at the time his discord name was Weed) and he stated he would be receiving the name on his account.
How they scammed: he scam was blatant lying to myself, Bold, and another user who the name was actually sold to. The scam was simple, @KissabIe lied about who was receiving the name, the amount, and many other things and was really outsourcing the name. By telling a fourth party (Potato) that he was buying the name for him at a price of 9B + 20% he was able to scam that user or me depending on the perspective for 3.8b. In Sythe PM's with Potato he stated it was being sold for that 9b + 20% fee. The lies he wove to be able to steal a 3.8B cut from a transfer he barely had a part in should be reason enough for this user to return these funds to the user he scammed. I would like to personally see the funds returned or have Assassin view the funds traded back.
I will admit this is not my best report as it's been a rough day with a personal emergency but I'm happy to answer any questions and share screens with staff where necessary.

I believe @Milk has some information to add to this as well.

https://www.sythe.org/members/518951/ has been caught numerous amounts of times leaking names from other name sellers to others without permission. By doing that he allegedly put their names at risk of getting them into the wrong hands & possibly on a proxy snipers name list. This is not the first time he has done this as he has been warned many times from other name sellers around our community. In addition, he even leaked another name sellers list to me randomly. As I informed the administrator of the previous owner who've owned these names. Leaking names is NOT okay to do without permission.

Milk's input is irrelevant to this matter. Milk has also been caught for leaking names from other name sellers without permission. He also told me in secret that he will only leak names to me. Leaking names is unacceptable even to close friends/name sellers!!!

I think this evidence is more than relevant to this matter. I agree leaking names is unacceptable however I think we can all agree this is not the main reason we are here.

Regarding what @AchillesOSRS stated now. @TheActlPotato wanted to buy my name "Weed" for 6b gp; @Dr1p was the one transferring the name and unfortunately it got sniped. @TheActlPotato for some weird reason he trust traded me with 6.9b gp did not need Dr1p to MM at all and he paid the 900m fees to Dr1p. Once the name got sniped, @TheActlPotato "felt bad" that he got sniped so he offered Dr1p to refund him only 5.1b instead of 6b gp (the value of the name).

I know it doesn't sound logical, but just cause it doesn't make sense that he would want to spend more money out of pocket, doesn't mean an individual with such poor judgement doesn't exist in the name market. He clearly has a mismanagement of his finances. It isn't everyday that a name buyer is willing to pay almost 1b to the name transfer pro after a name gets sniped with full snipe responsibility. This correlates well when he wanted to purchase the name Rot. He was fully aware that Alex owned the name Rot, so he could have easily messaged Alex on discord to purchase the name directly from him. It wasn't some sort of secret that Alex owned the name. He just wanted that "feeling" of buying the name from me and getting my help. Since he wanted to purchase the name Weed from me previously which unfortunately got sniped, he was willing to overpay on Rot which was his plan B. The reason he chose to spend more with me than with Alex is cause he ended up winning about 14+b at the duel arena. He knew that I am a returning customer of Alex's, having bought several high tier names from him in the past. TheActualPotato even stated to me several times how he has too much money that he just wants to get rid of. If those words don't sound like a reckless individual, I don't know what does.

I am getting the feeling @TheActlPotato has buyers remorse, thus deciding to file this report after possibly losing funds at the duel arena. He even asked me to borrow 1b to build back his bank.

I do not see any relevance to the original attempted purchase from Dr1p. It has nothing to do with this situation.

So just because he has money you lied and took advantage of his trust? This report was getting created even before we started talking to him. You are not defending any of the facts here so please answer the following questions:

1) Did you lie to any of the parties about who was buying the name? Yes/No
2) Did you falsely advertise how much the name was to Potato to make more money (As a returning customer you would have known Alex doesn't charge a transfer fee so don't try saying that was excluded and added on) ? Yes/No
3) Did you falsely state that you could not add potato to the middleman chat due to it being "confidential" which to put it light is bullshit (Image here: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/777411558653165568/777498901170749480/2.png). Yes/No
4) Was he ever informed he was overpaying? Or did you trick him into thinking it was 9b + 1.8b of bullshit fees you tacked on that didn't exist?

This is an absolute trash of an excuse and does not show you stating that the name is 7b. I doubt you ever did. It says NOWHERE in there that he preferred buying from you vs Alex. It says NOWHERE in that gif that he has too much money. You just assume that. He has 13b yes, but fucking hell man, that does no mean he's willing to overpay.

I would love to hear where you're getting this information cause I'm just not seeing it.

 

This is irrelevant of the matter at hand, you are not in here to judge how people spend their finances and what they do with their money. As of Dr1p's situation, out of goodwill I have asked him to return less from him.(Which has nothing to do with this) And still, that is not for you to judge if I asked for less what was owed to me. And as of the "1b" to build my bank, as of that time I was joking with you as a "Friend", It does not have to do with really asking for that 1b. As of me wanting to overspend to that name, You have literally said that you have "Bought" the name. You have "sold" me something that was not in your possession in the first place. And please comment of the matter at hand of this current trade, which means by what happened to me and Ethan.

You have done nothing to defend yourself as of yet. Your claims are based on how he spends his money. Not what the report is about: You scamming users by lying to them about 99% of details so you can make money.

He gave 1b to a name transferer after it was sniped, so what? That's his right to do so if he wanted to. It was not your right to steal his money through manipulation and lying. Please scroll above and read the neatly numbered questions I left for you. They're simple yes or no questions, you can add a bit more details if you'd like but please do answer them.

Where did you get the information that he only wanted the "feeling" of buying a name?
He was willing to overpay for Rot? Or you let him to believe that was the price, hence tricking him by lying and telling him that was the price. Your excuses are crap and how he manages his money is completely up to him and only him. You did nothing but lie to bump up the price to keep him paying more so you could make some quick money.


And you're absolutely right, I don't have any authority here. However this is a report and going back and forth debating, answering questions, questioning, etc is how we give the staff here information. If you're unwilling to answer any questions I guess they're ones that wouldn't reflect you in a positive light. I'm more than happy to wait for staff for this as I believe enough evidence has been brought forth for this situation to be resolved.
