Sythe Poker Tourny

There have been a lot of sythe events in the past for giveaways. I think a poker tourny would be a lot of fun.

 

I'd love to do a poker tournament

Question: Would this be for money, or just for fun? I feel like a just for fun would be more popular. Pot limit ideally, to prevent those who get lucky with an all in or two and end up making it to the end.

There was mention of a poker tournament, but discussion about it went inactive. I'll poke it again.

 

In my opinion there would have to be some entry fee or prize, or else people would constantly push all in in the beginning just to try to double up at the beginning (which in my opinion ruins poker games because it's annoying for people actually trying to play, even though it gives them better odds usually)

sorry if this is a noob question, but how exactly would a poker tournament go down? would it have to be done off-site on one of those poker games or is there posibility to do it on Sythe?

I'd be down for a poker tournament for sure! havn't played in ages
