Concept
Since the server has only just gone live there are still many things that need to be done. The capital cities of the orcs and humans are still simple villages now. They can easily be attacked by the opposing faction and should thus be protected. It is up to the players to gather resources to build walls, towers, gear to defend yourself from the enemy race, supplies, etc. Step in to make the difference, play together with friendly players to become the mightiest race in New Eden. Climb the social rank to one day become the king or warchief of a nation.

New Eden is a survival server with a roleplaying concept in mind. I (Tinkerballs) decided to combine one of my two favorite games, World of Warcraft and Minecraft. I'm not a fan of creative servers, and thus there will only be a small part of World of Warcraft implemented into the server, this actually only being ranks, races and city names. The way cities, towns and other stuff looks will all be decided by the players. The goal of a player is to enjoy the survival aspect of the server, yet building massive cities with his or her allies.


Your Role
There are many unique ranks within your race/side. When you first start out you';re just a peasant or peon, a rank with no features. After some time and effort you could become a citizen, this rank is simply gained by being a player that works hard for his race/side and shows he's willing to put effort into helping the horde/alliance. After citizen there are many more ranks, knights or grunts, kings and warchiefs, too many to name. One that should be explained however is the council rank. Council members have additional features and mainly decide over what the main priorities of your faction are. Every player is free to build, explore or gather however he or she wants, yet it would be in your best interest to also listen to the council of your faction. The last rank of your faction is the King (Alliance) or Warchief (Horde), the ultimate rank for only the most dedicated player. There can only be one of these ranks, thus reserving it for the most dedicated. The King and Warchief has the right to decide what eventually happens with your faction. Do you expand and venture through the terrain of another race or do you wait for war to come knocking?

Server Development
This server has just been launched, keep that in mind. Both the Alliance and the Horde will need to lay foundations first, we are also still in need of moderators. While there still may be some bugs with ranks, spawns or other things I assure you that these are being fixed. Currently there is a 100 slot server, this will be upgraded as soon as we reach that many players online.
