guide to stop your laptop overheating

    Hey,this is deathstar110's 3rd guide so enjoy!
heres some facts that will stop your laptop overheating they stopped my laptop overheating to much definately.
Heres 3 facts that helped me,stop it a bit from overheating

    Fact 1:
Make sure your vents are not blocked in any way. This is the only way a laptop can expell hot air and blocking them is the equivalent of cutting off your air supply.
    Fact 2:
Never use your laptop on a soft surface like a bed, blanket, etc. These can easily block the vents and trap heat inside without you even realizing it.
    Fact 3:
When not using your laptop (such as when you're sleeping), power it off and allow it several hours to cool
well thats all really cant think of anything else that will help your laptop stop overheating hope you enjoyed the guide!

guide to stop your laptop overheating

    A few fundamental pointers:

    • Check your grammar. There's nothing I don't notice more that grammer, even the small points, like commas or proper capitalization.
    • Perhaps go into a bit more detail. This guide contains data that is fairly obvious and its quite short. Maybe detail fans (if available) or acoustic dampening etc?
    • On the topic of detail, include pictures. Even adding a few pictures will pop the guide up a few ratings, because it shows it took you more than five minutes to write.
You can further proceed to customize your guide by adding colors, sections, and personalized tags etc.

I apologize, but at the moment I'm going to have to give this a 1/10.

guide to stop your laptop overheating

To the guy above me...you made grammar mistakes also you tard. 1) "I don't notice more that grammer" it's "than" you dumbshit. 2) "its quite short." it's, you forgot the apostrophe. 3) We're on the internet so F off about grammar, this isn't an English class. I give this guide a 6/10 because the soft surfaces thing was useful. Guides don't need proper grammar for people to understand them.

guide to stop your laptop overheating

This guide wasn't at all useful.
    You basically said:

    Keep it on flat surfaces.

I can run my laptop non-stop for days and it will never overheat.

terrible guide. you gave us basic pointers, and there were only three.

no pictures, and no effort. If you could incorporate something useful into this guide, and add pictures you'd be on a good road.

guide to stop your laptop overheating

This is common knowledge - if you plan to create further guides, remember:
    • Add more information
    • Explain in greater detail
    • Try to create a guide that people will find useful

Also, to you people who are asking to add pictures, just stop. How are you going to add pictures for a 3-step guide?

guide to stop your laptop overheating

It's a good guide in the facts that your learning people with laptops how to take good care of their PCs. However, to be honest, it's not much of a guide. Just posting 6 lines about what to do isn't really a good guide. Your not using bold text, colours or different sizes. I still think this guide have a good potential, so if your expanding it, you'll see it'll bee good. :)

guide to stop your laptop overheating

    ]
No, You can not. Do not lie to him or me. Unless your laptop is a giant heat sink then no. Running it for days means using it NON stop for days. Simply leaving it on isn't putting it to work, all it's doing is showing a picture over and over and running small processes while it's just sitting there.

The guides fine. Everyone who complains about grammar and pictures, You are an idiot. It's not debatable, You are pretty much the dumb kid complaining about the book not having pictures. Shut your mouth you judgmental little girl.

Good guide, I'd think it would be Informative to people who do not know these kinds of things. 7/10

guide to stop your laptop overheating

These are a few good tips, but I do not think they qualify as a guide though. If you write another guide, pick a topic that is slightly larger so that you can write more about it and make it a real guide instead of just some tips.
