selling orange limited edition keystone light can!

post or pm if your interested its like i said an orange limited edition collectors keystone light can that i found in my thirty pack on new years eve, also its un opened beer still inside

PLEASE NOTE THAT SINCE THE CAN IS UNOPENED AND STILL CONTAINS THE ALCOHOLIC CONTENTS INSIDE THE CAN YOU MUST BE ATLEAST 21 YEARS OF AGE BY NYS law (which is were i live) to buy or sell alcoholic beverages.

You're not allowed to sell this as it is considered contraband because it still contains the beer. If it was empty then the situation would be different.

are we in prison? hows it contriband? hows it illegal? i see them selling it on craigslist and ebay all the time. thanks for the false imput ill request it be removed. only thing that needs to be done is when they pick up the package they have to show proof of age.

 

ill drink the beer and then sell it if its really breaking any rules. LOL

Doesn't say anything about Alcoholic beverages, I'd assume if both are above the age of 21 it would not matter

 

thats exactly what im thinking i can prove im 21 if the other person shows proof when they pick up the package i dont see the problem.

 

also for some one who knows so much about the forum rules, im not seeing anything about alcoholic beverages anywheres on the rules? so tell me. hows is the forums rules if its not in the rules?


and if it is one of the rules how are people suppost to know that if its not specified as a rule.

 

ok so i just checked with the makers of keystone light and coors light, its not illegal to sell the can as its marked as a collectors edition and i have paid the state taxes on the can if both parts show valid proof of age then selling collectors cans with the contents still inside is not illegal, since the can would be worth much much less if the contents inside have been consumed.


so if i am infact breaking any rules, its only this sites rules, which i dont see it listed anywere.

Are you kidding me?
To even sell alcohol(ic beverages) you need a license.
I am a bartender on weekends and have this license myself, without it I would not even legally be able to sell someone a beer in a bar.
It doesn't matter how much you ask, what the taxes are or if you are making a profit.
You could be buying cans for $100 each and selling for $0.01 without a license this is as illegal as selling drugs.

Funnily enough you do not need a license when giving alcoholic drinks away for free, not does the receipient have to be of legal age to receive it.

Granted, chances are very slim that one would get punished by law for selling a beer over the internet...however Sythe itself could get into big legal trouble for allowing these kind of sales without a license.
