James' User Educator Application! [DENIED]

Why should I be User Educator?

Because, I take care of what I do, and take responsibility for my full actions, I've also been many different things. I can educate Newbies to what they're thinking to what they're seeing and I might be a bit annoying if you annoy me sometimes, if you accept me as User educator, I promise I'll do my job properly, and help whenever wherever I can, I'm also mature and not annoying towards other users, if I get accepted as User Educator this time, you'll be happy that I got it, because I like to educate anyone in anything, at anytime, so please accept this application.

How to Make Free Forums!

Step one: Think about it, and discuss to yourself, what do you need the Forum for, and what will be the use for it, you don't want a Forum for nothing, or to boss people around, if you're going to make a Forum, and don't want phpbb, you can always use Invasion Power Board at a cost, but there's always a free one at www.ipbfree.com, but it's hard to get up, so it's best to get a friend to help you out on that, with the permissions, remember there are heaps of RuneScape Cheating Forums, so think about how many there are before making a forum for a game, or something, there might be thousands of forums, but they could be inactive or unpopular, so that's why it's best to just stick with a active cheating site such as www.sythe.org, because everyone knows www.sythe.org will probably be the largest cheating site of all times, however it's up to you, unless you want to waste a Forum it's up to you, just don't get obessed about it, phpbb Forums aren't the greatest Forum know to live, nor ipbfree or ipb is the popularest, I personally think (out of all the discussion about it) vBulletin will probably be the best, however requires a lisence for $160 dollars.

Step two: If you figured out what to do, and decided to get phpbb you can now Type in 'www.simpleboard.net' in your Address Bar, to make a start off to make your brand new forum, this'll be the only page you'll need, you can also use the help link on that page, if you're having troubles with your Forums, or you can contact me anytime, if you need any help with your new forum, make sure you have a Forum name ready and bear in mind that you'll have a large subdomain, so a short URL is recommended for this task, so don't get something like: www.mylargestdomainever.simpleboard.net

Step three: There will be a little picture on the right hand side of the page saying 'Create a Free Forum', you may click on that, to start off your new Forums, here you get to choose your subdomain and your styles for your forums, so you should becareful what you pick, you can't change your subdomain or domain name again, unless you delete your first forum and start over again, we don't want you to waste time, so please pick carefully. When you create a Free Forum, you may buy a domain name for a year and you may disable the ads for a total for $34 dollars a year. I personally don't think it's worth it, however (I guess it'll be popular if it wasn't RuneScape Related, as many people like double ranks, which cannot be done with phpbb, sorry), if you don't like your Forums, you can always delete it.

Step four: Think about what Style you want your Forum, and think about what your topic of the Forum is about, that'll be the best colour, we don't want a dull looking colour for your from it's firstly not good for your reputation and secondly, your Forums won't be attactive, we want as much colour as possiable, so it'll attact many users to your Forums. Usually a dark style would suit a RuneScape type forum if not, you may choose your Forum Style, this can be changed for later use, and you may create your own Style via Administrator's Panel -> Style's Management.

Step five: Fill out the required boxes, you must fill out all the boxes, pick your type of of Forum, like roleplaying games, etc, (this'll help advertise your Forum, many users might type in your keywords and find your forum, thus attacting them to it). So pick keywords that'll be reality to the topic, in reality I mean, real, there would be no point in putting 'Jagex' as a Keyword and your Forum is about Harry Potter books or something, that'll be completely, useless and pathetic in my opinion, so just don't do it. Make sure all your information if current, or else you'll be doomed, because when you create a Free Forum, you also make a Servimg.com account, (which is a Picture hosting website, which is required for Ranks, Avatars and Uploading pictures). Before you ask in this thread, no you can only upload avatars on a phpbb forum (free), because they won't let it.



Step six: Go and Administrator your new Forums, and make any needed changes, you may Administrate your Forum and add new Forums too it, and buy a Domain name for 25 dollars a year, this'll help your Forums many people find subdomains rather long, and unattactive. I've also made a tutorial below how to get a free Domain name, so look out for that guide. Add more Forums and Usergroups with permissions, and clean up your Forums, please use currect Spelling and Grammar, each Forum looks good with good Spelling and Grammar, also neat Forums and suitable and reasonable skins, and Administrators. Don't make someone an Administrator you don't know, they can just stuff up your free forum.

Step seven: Start recruiting members for your new forum. How else will you get Members? Try and recruit, in Forum Signature, or MSN Titles, they'll recruit many users if you do that, trust me, it works everyime. Never, ever, advertise your new Forums on a different website, it makes your Forum, unpopular and more need of members, we want to hide that, second, it's counted as spam, we don't want any enemies! If you create enemies, you stuffed up your Forum, everyone will know, if you spam advertisements on www.sythe.org, you'll just make heaps of enemies, you won't get any type of users from www.sythe.org if you use this method, expect a ban.



Step eight: Don't ask people to join your Free Forum straight Messaging, just put it in your MSN title, if that person truely sees it, you're very lucky, if he doesn't your Forum will loose another Member, but there's heaps of members on RuneScape, just don't be sad if just one member rejected to use your Forum, I'm sure it'll be nothing personal (I don't know, I'm just making this tutorial, if he doesn't join, it's most likely something personal, look out for the following: Change of Email Addresses, Change of behaveour, Change of
Thinking, and Change of Opinions.

How to scan files without Norton Anti-Virus

Step One: If you're unsure about a program, never open it, it'll probably just cause unneeded harm to your computer, internet, and your RuneScape account, it's better being safe then sorry, if you downloaded it from a forum it's almost required to scan it before opening it, a forum is a place where anyone, and everyone can post bad viruses, or spyware that my steal your personal information and your RuneScape Account Name and Password. So I recommend if you don't have Norton Anti-Virus Protection Systems.
Step two: Next, type 'www.kasperky.com/scanforvirus', this is the link to the online virus scanning system, the limit is 1MB, which is also 1000KB, any files over 1000KB or 1MB is most likely not a keylogger, those small files you should be more worried about, however, anything could be a virus, so if you find a virus scanner, I'd be really happy to see it, and make a tutorial about that website or program protection files. etc.



Step three: There's a browse button on the right hand side of the textbox, you may locate your files or folders, here, unless you want to just completely scan your enitre computer which is also recommended after completing this process. Please take caution before scanning a file, just because the scanners says there's no virus, it doesn't mean it's true, but I'm not taking any blame if your RuneScape Account gets hacked due to this guide.



Then if you just scanned one file, it's time to do a full computer scan which is easily done if you know which button to press. If your computer detects a virus find the location of that files and delete it and empty your trash can which is visable on the desktop on any computer, just right click it and press 'empty the trash bin'

How to make your own Blog!

Step one: Type 'www.piczo.com' in your Address Bar, have you ever used myspace or bebo, this is a bit like that, but different, it has it's advantages and disadvantages, but I'd rather not talk about that, now, it's just completely not in my tutorials, because I completely hate wasting time, because it costs me money. If you're going to make ilegal sites, or sites with porn, they'll be removed so think carefully before doing something bad, most offenses are agasint the Law such as Selling RuneScape Gold, it's copyrighted, but I won't get into copyrights just yet.



Step one: Register and make an account, and choose your URL (with subdomain.piczo) remember not to make a domain like this: mybigblog'sdomainnameexamplescreenshot.piczo.com, because no one will hardly go there, because it's such as long domain. Why do people write, 'www.runescape.com', that's long, however thats an addictive game, their buttons are probably breaking off by typing it so many times (thats how I found out my sister's MSN Password, she typed it so many times, it broke the keyboard, but no stories in my tutorials).



Step three: Fill out the required boxes, you need to be over 13 to use this service for security reasons, however, you can just lie if you want, please don't state that your younger then 13 on the www.sythe.org forums, that means your too young to play RuneScape and there will be no point in www.sythe.org for you.



Step four: Upload some files, change the backgrounds, etc. and then Administrate it later to fix up any changes done to your new piczo site. If you want, you could make a forum for your site and link it onto your piczo, then you'll beable to get a freedomain name, as next tutorial.

How to get a Free Domain name.

1) First, type in 'www.freedomain.co.nr' in your Address Bar, be sure it's co.nr, not .com, they're two different things, don't feel bad it's a feel services, it doesn't supply ADs or anything, it's just like .co.uk, but more different, all it does ask, is a link back to www.freedomain.co.nr, the link (HTML) code they give us is a picture, and it's half the size of the ranks on www.sythe.org, which is amazing for a free service, most of them have 10 ADs per a page.



2) Register a new account so you can get a domain of course, this part is easiest, I doubt I even need to put a tutorial up for this, but I will because I have nothing else for a tutorial for as this spot.



3) Pick the domain you want
4) Fill out the forms



5) Congratulations, you got a free domain forwarded to your address!

How to bypass Security Restricted Sites.

1) Right click Internet Explorer and click 'properties'



2) From the top part click on Tools.
3) Select Internet Options from the list.
4) Click on the Security Tab.
5) Click on 'Restricted Sites'.



6) Find the site that you want unblocked.
7) Click the site and click Remove or Add.

At the very top, the second clause, is difficult to read. Strains the eyes against the colours. I'd suggest brightening a bit.

No offense, but ALOT of those have been done before, and no offense, but you shouldn't need a guide to know how to get a URL redirection or how to make a forum.

They're OK.....

 

5-6/10...They are pretty basic, what people need is guides that have never been done before.

 

Name one thing that hasn't been done as a guide and i'll try and make it.

Its good that you used your own time for this. Though, I would've rather had seen new guides, not from an different forum.

There are plenty of free forum making guides, and seriously to me, having a free-forum isn't that great, and is usually easy 1-2-3 to make.

Tutorial 2 has been done before, look elsewhere in this site for it.

Now, no one ever makes programming guides anymore
