Cyberpunk 2077

What are everyone's thoughts on this ambitious projekt (yes pun intended)? I've been following development for years and I want it to be the next best thing in open world RPG's and surpass all of the hype however given recent let downs with other titles by other developers I still have doubts. I totally understand Projekt Red aren't like other developers, but BioWare has consistantly taken the easy way out creating less than polished titles in recent years.

I really want it to live up to all of the hype. I personally couldn't get into Wild Hunt for some reason, regardless of how amazing and ambitious I knew it was. I might try again as I am no longer forced to rush through the story like I was when I was in the Military.

I know the narrative part is going to be good, but I'm more worried about the gameplay considering TW3 has horrendous combat.

 

That itself was the main reason I couldn't get into it. It seemed almost rushed to the point that it just became a clunky fight against the camera angle. I mean obviously there's other reasons why I had trouble getting to it, but much like RDR2, those small imperfections can be overlooked when alot of other area's are polished keeping the player engaged throughout the storyline. I'm still really excited for 2077, however I'm trying to force myself to approach it from a more pessimistic standpoint so I'm not disappointed which is sad because it's 2019 and alot of games that should have been great have been not complete failures but pretty big disappointments in my opinion...(Division 1, Watchdogs, Fallout 4 (not mentioning 76), Anthem, and Rage 2)
