Now the login will be the email address and it will stay like this? I thought that they had a problem with their server and it was only temporary... and it was going to change but it wont? o_o... I wanted to make a few more accounts >.> FUCK!

 

Just make decent junk mail addresses to use for the accounts.:idea:

 

Yeah make a random email and its no biggie

 

But the logging in part is annoying D: and is keeping the email address going to help recover the account if stolen? I am guessing yes, I might be wrong.

Tbh I find signing in with my email quite annoying but atleast I joined before it.

 

Now just watch, accounts made before that update are going to go up in value over the next few months here on Sythe. E-mails are too long to type in. :/

 

Use 5 minute mail or w/e, google it.

One account per email defiantly sucks. However if you were to have like 5 accounts linked to one email, and somebody manages to hack you, they would have procession of 5 accounts.

So good move by Jagex in a way?

They should of just kept it as usernames tbh.

I agree that the update was kinda useless, but I see where Jagex is coming from with it. I'm not gonna rage over it.

 

Naa, jagex stated they would only do that for November accounts onwards.

Unless their little "register email for 10 extra bank spaces!" was all part of a plan. Hell maybe if they got enough people doing that they would have made it compulsory, but I highly doubt it. Conspiracy theories over.

 

I personally hate this update. Jagex is just finding ways to f themselves and their future.
