    Customization with windows - LogonScreen

    Download LogonStudio from HERE

Open up LogonStudio after installing it, you will be given three custom logons, and the windows xp one. from here you can do a few different things:

-Download a logon skin from the StarDock website (http://www.stardock.com)
    -Create your own Skin

To make your own just hit the "New" button near the bottom of the program, then you will be prompted with the "Name:" "Author:" etc. forms, fill these out then hit "Create" , you will then get a popup with a copy of the regular Microsoft Windows XP logon screen, clicking on a certain graphics takes the list on the RHS instantly to it's location, from here you will get a few different things, here's some examples:

"Picture [(Bitmap) ...] - clicking on the "..." will give you the option of ediitng the image, or browsing for a new one, the default bitmap editor through this program is MS Paint, but you can use fireworks or anything but the image MUST be a BMP!

"BackColor" clicking this lets you change a specific color, it is visual, as in, you change it and you'll see what you have changed on the preveiw on the left.

"FirstColor" basically the color at the front, use this in connection with LastColor/BackColor and you create a gradient.

On the LHS in the menu, you will see everything in their place, in the "Messages" area you can change all the captions (including the shutdown screen and the welcome screen)

just click the one you want to change and edit the text.
then hit the picture of the palatte with the triple A's and it will send you to the logon screen (without closing anything) simply log back on and you're done!

Pics will be up soon, when my friend comes online to upload them for me, cause my internet wont upload ffs
