    Do mini ranks go away (like they expire) or do you keep them forever?

    The miniranks you get for participating in different section does go away if you become inactive. I believe if you post 5 times in that particular section in a week then the minirank remains with you.

    Other miniranks that are given by admins or bought which aren't rewarded for participating in any forum sections don't go away.

    The purpose of the participant ranks is to increase activity in sections, if eventually everyone had one then there'd be no point in having them :p
